Saving a tent after death

Hello everyone.

Sorry, if the question is already answered somewhere, but I didn't manage to find it.

The problem is the following:

I've placed my tent deep into the land, far from the cost (~5km) and placed all my backup stuff there.

Then I went to Cherno and just died stupidly there: tried to climb through the tent which blocked my way, broke my legs and passed away in a few seconds...

Then I returned to my body and took all my stuff back, so I don't need to return to my tent... but I don't want all the stuff to disappear either.

What should I do to prevent my tent from disappearing (in 2 days, right?)

- Should I go there and press 'save'?

- Or should I remove all the stuff, pack the tent (can I do it after death?) and place again?

Once you're dead, you can't re-pack it because it's no longer "Yours" it's that guy who died's tent (AKA you, in your past life)

you can remove and add, and save items, and from what I understand, as long as it's "Saved" or has a transaction every 7 days, it will remain.

The safest thing to do, is find another tent and deploy it, and move your gear into it.

Yeah, I've broken my legs this way a few times. Crawling is deadly, especially crawling backwards / sideways.

Go back to the tent, move some stuff around and save.

Once the tent has been accepted by the server you can longer pack the tent.

Same thing once you die.
