BEC After Update

Anyone using the battle eye extended controls to speak to your server through rcon and using in game commands such as !kick, !ban etc, is yours still working as of the latest update? now when using say -1 it comes up (GLOBAL) in the console log and doesn't show in game.

Any suggestions?

Sending messages through rcon to all players, Not sure if it's due to the side/global restrict but i would of thought Rcon would over rule it

say -1 is a command that is a Global Chat to all players.

The -1 indicates the 'all players' because every player is given a number.

It is working in our servers.

just go into rcon,

type admins

when u see there 127.0.0.1 or the local server ip then BEC is logged in and should work.

if u want to say something ingame type !say

if u see nothing the messages are disabled inside the description.ext.

It's logged in and used to work fine before i updated the servers to the beta, isn't editing the description.ext against the dev's rules?

Disable global, side, command and system chat. MOTD and admin say have exception and will show in global. Introduced in BETA 1.60.93398.

disableChannels[]={0,1,2,6};

0 = Global

1 = Side

2 = Command

3 = Group

4 = Vehicle

5 = Direct

6 = System

but system doenst turn of BE messages so its kind a odd.

!say used to give a BE message before the update. It doesn't anymore and also !kpl issues the kick in the console but the player doesn't receive the kick.

EDIT: I also thought this might be because there was a BEC update. I updated to the latest and am still not able to kick or say. I didn't have beta on my server before the mandate and am completely unaware of the finer points of the admin features.

If you are issuing the commands in game, you must do so in a place that they can be heard.

So, you have to type in Direct with someone around to have it come up on their screen or the command will not be executed.

Nvm BEC does work, but direct chat in my server won't
