Times that you lost some good loot on you.

Alright, so this is a thread basically about people telling their short stories how they had some amazing loot on them and they went somewhere or something happened and they lost it, just you know, a fast thread.

I was with my mates in the airfield recently and because of the really dark night we had some complications then we alerted shitloads of zombies and had to retread into the firestation and you know they just kept coming. Then some dickhead decided to server hop and spawn inside the firestation with us, he shot 2 of our people. I had an M4 Silenced, M107, NVGs, a lot of ammo aswell and then we decided to retreat towards the North Barracks and I passed out in the middle of the factory yard area that goes north from the fire station, so I had 1,6k and died in the middle of the yard area.

o7 my nth good loot that I had. :) But this is all part of the game, losing stuff and then getting it back again, learning from your mistakes.

Yeah, you should have stayed at the back and had someone stay covering incase of someone coming in or spawning inside, always gotta calculate that into your defence line.

That being said, lost some good gear the other day while having an epic fire-fight in a town I forget the name of.

Lost an M24, Alice, M4A3 CCO GPS etc.

Still took both of 'em out.

just found M4A3 CCO in air tower NWAF, went to firestation looking for ammo and found ak74 Kobra. Wanted to see the difference so swapped guns, and the game deleted my M4A3 :(

Lost NVGs, an M16 ACOG once, not really that big of a deal.

Lost an MP5 and M9SD to a server wipe.

Lost a military coyote pack once. Got gunned down in a field, but I took 2 of them with me :D

Losing your gear is kind of liberating. Start over, you've got nothing to lose anymore.

Losing your gear is kind of liberating. Start over, you've got nothing to lose anymore.

Yep, this is why I start every new life with a suicide sprint through all the nearby good buildings to get as much good shit as possible before heading north.

Well, lost an MP5SD and M9SD to a bug before. Was out of ammo and running into the barracks to take shelter from zombies. Someone had barricaded the entrance with barbed wire. Broke my legs from clipping on the door while trying to get over the wire... and was then beat to death by a zombie through the wall. 1.7.1 can't get here fast enough. :P

Then there was the time I lost my hunting rifle, alice pack, and all the tools (including GPS and NVG) to friendly fire. There were eight of us vs 1 fricken' zombie. BAM! Instant death and my body just disappeared.

Currently, I'm afraid to log back in for fear of losing my M107 and Coyote Elite. :P

We had just looted the NW airfield. We set up some tents just outside (risky, I know) but we wanted to quickly gather a lot of supplies and store them from the barracks. We were all fairly decked out with M4A1 CCOs, 6 mags each, camo, bags full of supplies, etc.

One of my mates prones under a large tree and 2 minutes later he gets shot and killed. Me and the other 3 immediately react and make a run. 1 splits off and 2 of us are heading north east out of the airfield. The guy I split with gets shot at 12k blood and died at -65,000. We have pretty much established he's hacking.

I meet up with the last survivor and keep running in the forest. I see a bus and we go in it, It has nearly full fuel and is fully functional. My mate dumps all his loot and charges back to our tent to quickly get as much as he can. I'm sitting in the bus, waiting, and suddenly... boom. I get shot in the face from someone in the forest. My mate tries to go all sneaky on this hacker but as expected, gets shot. Before my friend attempted to save our gear, he also found a mag in the bus for a silenced sniper that doesn't even exist.

Just lost a lot of stuff but the 2 Frags, a silenced M9, Coyote Elite and antibiotics are probably the worst of it.

That's not the hardest part though. The worst part was I could have survived if I hadn't hesitated. Could have taken the guy fairly easily but it wasn't my way to shoot first. Sadly he had other ideas.

A friend I was lanning with claimed he was being shot at from the bottom of trump tower (the name we give to that really tall stair building next to Cherno Apartments/Hospital), while he was at the top. I emerged from the treeline North West of the apartment buildings in order to get a good shot at the offenders. However, turns out the people shooting him weren't at the base of the building they were... North West of the apartment buildings.

They ambushed me while I had my sniper gear equipped, so I got pretty owned. Had a DMR, MP5SD, M9SD, Night vision and GPS. Spawned nearby and managed to flank around them, even though I had had a makarov. As soon as I began firing, *poof*, they disappeared.
