Me and my friend were looting the NW airfield. we logged out because i had to go. when we logged in again i spawned in the "lobby" world without any gear. my friend survived and he looked at me and he said i looked like a zombie, so i asked him to send me a picture of my face. it looked like this. | did i die of a glitch or was i infected? i mean i have jacks in my face and its pooring out blood |

It's an effect which is applied to injured characters in Arma 2, and sometimes appears on dead players in DayZ.

1) Dafuq is the lobby world? You mean the debug forest? A new spawn on the coast?

2) It sounds like "we were looting" really means we updated to 1.3 and shot/got shot at and combat logged? Perhaps in shock upon DCing?

3) That's the face you get on corpses. Sometimes when you first spawn in you see a bunch of other spawns with the same face
