yes another fps problem

So this game worked perfectly until the 1.7.3. update came out then i couldnt connect to any server because it told me my version was bad. i used dayz commander to downgrade to the previous version and it finally would load the game but now i get around 2fps. technically i can play, but who wants to run at 2 fps.

i also dont think its my computer because i can play modern warfare 3 perfectly on it.

specs:

750gb 7200rpm hdd

NVIDIA 670m with 3gb

16gb of ram

intel i7 processor (3rd gen)

any help would be great, i love this game. thanks

alright sorry people, but im pretty sure that mw3 is graphics intensive. just thought of it as an example. if youd like the list of my games because you think for some reason what other games (and mods) i run make a difference then ask. just looking to get some help people.

also i think it can run almost anything because so far my computer has run everything (including dayz before the update) and many 3d rendering programs. you cant tell me 3d rendering isnt intensive for a computer, if it wasnt i would have bought a cheaper computer.

@hawky, you're not helping.

@OP Arma/Dayz is very demanding on almost any rig, however, you say you were running ok before the patch? How does vanilla Arma2 play? Do the benchmark missions run well?

@orlok thanks for helping, yes dayz ran before the patch but now both arma 2 and dayz react the same. takes forever to load and has very low fps, for any type of mission, multiplayer or singleplayer

Very odd indeed. I fail to see how updating the @dayz folder would have any impact on your rigs performance.

How's the free space on drive arma lives on? Lots? litte?

How are other apps functioning since this issue?

I have 514GB free of 700GB available. plus all my other programs run with no problem. Also ive un-installed and re-installed about 5 times now with no change in performance
