Is it just me or does it look like nobody is playing this game anymore...Im fairly new to it and heard ALLLLL about the hype and was so dang happy when I finally got it a week ago and when I finally booted her up there was fuck all servers and the ones with ppl had 21/50...30/50...16/60! And when you do find a full game...make some progress a script kiddy fuckin kills you!

What is going on??? I know all about the private hives too but the ones ive been invited to on here have 3 ppl in them!

How do I find a decent place to play???

Hey, try to use the DayZ Commander, it updates your ArmaII, DayZ and all coustm maps for DayZ.

It is also easier to finde full server or empty servers.

Do not use Sixluncher or the ingame browser, its both totaly fucked up and not working.

yeah DayZ commander is what I use it's really easy to find servers you want

A lot of people have left until the stand alone is released because of hackers/bugs...there are still a lot of servers that are full though. Defo use DayZ Commander :)

Yep you should use dayz commander and there are some hackers but than i'll go to another server and no hackers in there good luck with playing!

I am using DayZ Commander...Its only comes up with prob 50-100 servers with ping under 200 and fuck all are full? Im in OZ and I know there aint many servers but not even that many US servers pop up! It seriously looks like nooone is playing anymore! Maybe 10-15 servers with more than 20 players...thats it!!! Ideas....?????

There's the problem right there. Although I am short of solutions for now because so many people are waiting for standalone, good servers for Australia are probably really difficult to find.

A lot of people are just waiting for the standalone now. The new patch released today though so expect a rise in activity for a few days at least. After that try and find an active whitelist or password protected server with good admin.

There's plenty of good servers out there still, just don't expect to find a ton near Australia. When the standalone is released (in a few months?) you'll see a huge surge in server availability in that region.

Source: Close friend and gaming buddy lives there. He makes sure to complain to me about the lack of servers any time the population drops.

Also as another poster said, there server don't seem to be many OZ servers, I'd say have a good look around for a whitelisted server and you will find some actually worth playing, hell if you weren't so far away I'd say come join our UK one.
