I found a box on a public server with what seemed like every item in day z, scooped a G35c. Now I'm worried there might be a ban hammer lurking.

Tents save to server if im not mistaken.

But for future reference, if your ever wondering about a gun being legit, http://dayzdb.com/database/weapons is one of the official lists. some private hives have other guns implemented though, so this is only good for main hive servers

Read up on the servers that you join. On private hive servers, admins can implement items of their choosing on the map. The main hive, which holds most servers of DayZ, only spawns the weapons listed in DayZdb.

All of the G36 weapons aren't available on the main hive, they count as hacked weapons, and you may be warned/reported/banned for having it on you.

It is not "official", but i'm playing on a server on which it is legal, on this server it spawns at the heli crashsite.

It is my first self found fency gun i have :)
