DayZ Mod not working! Please help!

I have downloaded DayZ in several different ways. I have downloaded it with the program "Six Launcher", I have manually downloaded the 1.6.0 version, the 1.7 version, and meged the 1.6.0 version with the 1.7 version.

When I open the game to play I open it with "Combined Ops". I go to a game and I click play and while connecting to host it kicks me out and says something along the lines of "You can not play/edit this game, this game is dependent on the downloadable content that has been deleted, Dayz_Code, Dayz_Weapons, Days_Vechals." I've read other reviews and have tried what they say to do, such as take all the addons from Armra II and move them to Armra II OA and it still did't work. Please help!

Try getting the operation arrowhead beta. See if that works. You can search around here from links and instructions.

Make sure your game is at 1.7 And never overwrite files, always remove old files first, for safety. As we all know, weird shit can happen.

Ok I did it, but sadly I have ran into another problem. When I join a server menu for servers pops up and behind it says "Waiting for character to create" I've set here for a while and it has never done anything. I've tried multipul servers and it keeps happening. I never got to click anything before this happened.

Servers may be overloaded, as it's the weekend.

Attempt again later, or other servers. ( I haven't been in today, so I wouldn't know. )

I dont think its the servers, Im looking for servers with 5 or less people and it still wont work. Ive been constantly working on getting this game to work for 2 days now and I never even gotten to play it. If I wasnt $30 invested into this game I would have quit by now cause it seems impossible. If anyone knows how to help me, please help!

I've been having the same issue and I've been trying to fix it / hope it works since I got it the other day. I haven't even been able to play at all.
