Debug Monitor Gitch

Recommended Posts

I've seen people playing on youtube with the debug monitor enabled.

If I enable my debug monitor through game options, None of my meters work, my blood, food drink, temperature, they all turn solid green and stay that way.

Is it like this for everyone right now?

It's a known bug mentioned in the change-logs for the last update. I don't use the debug at all anymore, it's amazing how quickly you get used to it. The long-term plan for the standalone is to remove the indicators completely and rely purely on cues and indicators given from within the game world itself.

There was a update where they ruined Debug Monitor you aren't able to play probably with it turned on because it makes your Blood and food etc all green everybody is having this issue probably wont be fixed before they release standalone version.

It works in some private hive servers.

Ive logged on to some public hive servers and found there is a more colorful version that is sometimes used with the "default" UI selection. One was called the "Monkey Meter", iirc.

I really just want it to show my kills, but just checking it and switching back isn't a problem.

Indeed, that's how I check my blood when I sit down to eat steaks when I need major healing. A quick turn it on, heal, then turn it off.

Also, you can hit "i", which will bring up the top server kills list. Often times if you aren't on the top ten, it will show you and your totals at the bottom. This is zombies mostly, don't know if it shows player kills. It's also a running tally for you character, not just the one session.
