More body studying options

This idea came too me while I was recording one of my videos and I think its awesome.

I was thinking maybe adding a new tool, "Tweezers", basically, if you have these and study a dead player / zombie then it should come up saying that bullet type, this could be very useful when trying to follow a player, for example, if he has shot a zombie with a sniper, then you'll know not too engage him from far away. Or, for example finding a dead player in Stary Sober tents, you study his body and he's been shot by a sniper.... SNIPER HILL! - Although, he'd probably be dead by then.

Sorry for the brief description but I think its an awesome idea that hasn't been posted before ( I think ). So, what do you guys think, comment below.

if we had a bayonet we could cut him open and find out what sort of bullet and then know what gun shot him. or keep the bullet and use it in our gun.

I don't think keeping the bullet would be realistic :P but nice idea anyway.

You couldn't re use the bullet as it wouldn't be attached to the shell/casing which contained the gunpowder which causes the bullet to be fired in the first place. A bullet that has been used is most likely to be slightly or very highly dis-formed so it would muck up your gun's mechanism's anyway.

I do think the idea of getting a better description of the body would help.. "His name was Bob Saget. It appears he died of Bullet wound to the Head. The body is cold."

That would tell me that the guy got shot in the head and that he's been dead for a while. Just something to consider.

Yeah I'd rather know how long he's been dead and if he died to a gun shot wound, melee weapon, or zombie.

That way I can guess if the killer is still close by or not and if I should be worried about another player with a gun, someone with an axe, or it was some nub who died to a zed.

No, not a fan. Player lives are many, most players who have killed me have hidden the body if you have the hide body option then you don't need any more body search / info options. Chances are if you kill them u know what they died of.

Now if it's voyeurism you want, let's petition for diaries, that way you'll learn a lot more about dead players!

Have you ever thought about using the hunting knife instead of having to add a bayonet? And how exactly are you gonna use the bullet without the case? Throw it at enemies?

And how the ever living fuck are you even going to be able to identify what caliber the misshapen lump that is the bullet is, anyway?

I wasn't aware all of our characters were trained in ballistic forensics!
