need help deciding next move

Hi I'm currently wandering the woods north of one of the cities, i have an m4 with the nade launcher, more than enough ammo and everything i need to make food.

What do I do now?

I recommend you continue heading north, and if don't have a map, I recommend try getting it by whatever supermarket is in your city.

Once that is finalized, continue heading north, to any town that may seem of good loot, or hell, even the NWAF.

...if you are up for it.

I've been looking for maps for an hour, there are simply mone when you need them.

Also, I'm sitting on a corpse with an m24, should i swap it with my m4?
