That is the in game map, it is a very useful tool till you find the real thing in game.

I prefer dayzmap.info, I just use the DayZDB one for vehicle spawns.

I have both open in the Steam in-game browser most of the time anyway, lol.

That one is good, but if you just need a grid ref of the ingame map, this is ideal.

I used it to great effect the other day revealing an enemy who shot me. I knew their location, but since I was dead, I could not provide a grid ref, hey presto, this map saved the day, I was able to submit GR, to comrades and the bandit sniper was double tapped:lol:
