I have the PMC pack and I have a few friends who are interested in seeing what the upgraded models look like in comparison to the current ones. Does anyone have a contrasting picture between the two or can anyone make one for the sake of having a clear comparison of the two?

Just curious. It'd be appreciated.

I do not, but I'd also like to see this.

I just posted this in another thread, but here:

Are there any ingame screens available with and without PMC to compare?

High Resolution PMC skins (weapons' date=' vehicles, and units)

Now is this low res screen from computer graphic settings?

no, it's forced if you do not own the pmc dlc.

Wow that is really dumb then. Talk about milking money.

lol I guess it depends on how you see it, it's not like you need to get it to play. I mean if they really wanted to milk money from people they could make it where you can't play the mod due to the fact that you do not even own PMC at all, but at least they allow people who don't have it to play, just not allowing them to access the bought content by masking it. So in reality, it's not that bad.

So the skins look better in dayz if you have the PMC DLCs? I haven't seen a single video or screenshot of high res PMC in dayz. Can anyone that has the PMC just screenshot it? UrbanXFX, how about you?

Yeah, that's interesting. I have the PMC pack yet the models in DayZ stay the same as the old ones. When I access the PMC content in OA, however, everything seems to be there. Are the models just not implemented into the mod yet? If so when can we expect them? If not, why am I not seeing them during multiplayer?

I'm referring specifically to the models like the ones in the last two pictures of Amnesty's post.

I have PMC and the models I see in this mod look nothing like those last "hi-res" ones.

You fucking kidding me? This is the best handled DLC in the entire industry' date=' they give you the entire DLC for nothing at low quality to ensure that you don't get locked out of any mods/missions that use DLC content. If you want the high quality stuff then pay for it, it's very fairly priced given how much you get.

The PMC DLC has a few different model types' date=' the ones used in Dayz are the 'Field Technicians', the ones pictured above with the flannel shirts are 'Security Contractors'. I would bet the reason why they chose to use the 'Field Technicians' is because it's the only one that does not have a headset. Comparison screenshot.

Edit: The two bodyguard models have no headset.

This makes sense.

Hopefully we can eventually use the other models as well, because in my opinion the Contractor ones are better than the Technician ones. It's a shame they have to have a headset on them.

Headset or no headset; the contractors looks way more cool than the current technicians.

I swear I saw someone at an airfield the other day that had a military outfit (greenish camouflage) similar to the screenshots, while I myself do not own the DLC.

Is that something that normally happens?

What you saw was a bandit.

frankly, the PMC campaign and vehicles are so underwhelming, that it just isn't worth buying it just for textures at its Sprocket price.

Very rarely I've seen someone in almost British RMC style desert cammo, i havent for a few patches though so maybe it was a bug of some sort.

I have the Reniforcements package but haven had it installed ever since it messed up another MOD for me. Never got around to figuring out why, but it apparently needs a different installation path than the OA installment, to avoid collision?

Anyway, I probably should test it out if the result is better models¿

I have the PMC DLC and can confirm that the models are higher res, but are not the ones with the flannel shirts.
