Do you keep gear when changing maps?

Hello,

I have got a ghillie and 3 weapons as gear here, in Chernarus map. Now I would like to change map, cause i want to see what's on the other maps. Now, will my Chernarus gear reset too, or is the gear you got, saved per map. Also, when i go and play on panthera now, and then i go to Chernarus map, will i spawn on the same place and with the same gear?

when u go to a new map u start a fresh character, what u have on one map won't be carried over but u won't lose it either. it stays with the character on the map

The hives have independent memory and don't interfere with each other. If you leave the main hive that most Chernarus servers are connected to, your things won't come with you as the private hive system the other maps are run on are not connected to the main hive. This means that nothing you do on one hive will have any affect on other hives you choose to play on.

You can have an independent character for each hive, and they won't conflict. If you choose to play on, for example, Lingor Island, your character on Chernarus will stay the same until you come back, and vice versa.

You will keep it in the map you previously had it. But not in the new map. If you find items in Chernarus, then the items stay with your PC in Chernarus. What you find in Fallujah will stay with your PC in Fallujah.
