hdmidone 7 Posted October 27, 2012 (edited) Hey Guys, I was thinking About ideas that could improve the game and I came up with this (sorry if I say some stuff that are already in the game) Ideas for the standalone version -Passive Level System-For Example: Lets say you run alot but you run out of breathe a bit quick.But then with the passive level system the more you run the longer you run. Like conditioning for a sport.(but you get thirsty) etc. -Items Corresponding with building and objects-For Example: Lets say there is a crashed ambulance naturally there would be a larger amount of bandages. GunStores, etc -More Vehicles-Like bikes etc.., but bikes make you thirsty and hungry -Placable/Destructable objects-Like wooden fences and such.., would be used to make a base or barriers that fortify doors [nails and hammer are needed (passive system works here to)]and fences/doors could be broken to get wood for Fortification -Fortification- If placable objects would be implemented then this would be easy to put into the game(maybe you could make walls or more fences idk) -Achievement-RewardSystem-So Like Have a reward systemFor example- bandage your self 50 times and revive someone 10 times-then as a reward you get a badge above your name that says something like doctor or some thing.Just have different rewards like a better cloths and stuff. -Finding items that perm stay with you-Like a backpack that has more inventory slots.or better shoes.And maybe backpacks that could be found with prepacked stuff. -Zombies Inventory-Some zombies should have a inventory co-responding to who they where before they turned, like the broken ambulance I mentioned, the zombies that spawned near the ambulance should have a nursing skin and should have a abnormal amount of bandages and water in there inventoryand police zombies should have helmets etc,..Also,players who are killed shortly after (time varies) turn into zombies (they arn't the zombies but the body with the stuff in the inventory turns) and you have to kill that players body to get the stuff. -Some Zombies Act Dead- For example, you shoot a zombie and it falls to the floor you have to "double tap" if they are breathing or something (only some don't die the ones that you shoot in the chest or something) -More ideas to come- Please, leave a comment and check out my beginning gaming blog :DBtw I'm really sorry for the name I really didn't know what to call it :( Edited October 27, 2012 by hdmidone Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
hut (DayZ) 7 Posted October 27, 2012 Yes, i especially like those about dead players turning into zombies(not controlled) and the thing about "zombies playing dead" it would be really nice. Imagine, you are getting in front of school, you see a lot of bodies, you go pass them and accidently step on one of them, you hear cracking of bones and a horrifying scream, you look down and there is a zombie trying to grab your leg, you turn behind and all bodies arent lying around anymore but standing and slowly advancing in your direction. 8D Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

GunStores, etcI think we need the exact opposite. If you make specific loot, people have an advantage using maps like these http://dayzdb.com/map. It will be harder to build up a healthy body)And this would work with other stuff. Like, walking(you require less water)swimming(you swim faster)crouching(you crouch walk faster and more silently).But remember it's really hard to build up these skills and they are passive so the players won't be distracted by a congratz you won thing.STUFF IN SPACIFIC BUILDINGSI think we need the exact opposite.
