Trust Me.

What is Project "Trust Me."?

Trust Me. is about returning power from the bandits and PKers who run rampant through DayZ to the true heroes and survivors of the game.

How can you ever expect to accomplish this?

Basically, the goal in mind is to educate players on how to handle confrontations that will most likely not result in death between them. We teach tactics, methods, as well as giving players food, water, supplies and the like. We give the players someone to trust and be certain they will stay true, and encourage others to trust others too, but do it in a safe manner that won't get them killed.

So you're a clan, guild, squad, organization... what?

The main part of the project is a community of players that is pretty free-lance. This is so people can spread out to different servers and increase diffusion within the player population.

The other part is an organized group of friends who play together on a common server. These are small divisions organized based on location, timezone, and playtime preference, but are not forced upon people if they don't want to be part of a specific group.

As part of the community, you just need to spread teachings and be friendly to other players, and not kill them. You know, unless they want to kill you.

To become a community member [WIP, setting up system]

To apply for a specific group, choose one and fill out the application acoordinly [WIP, creating application and groups]

I am currently not accepting applications until a suitable network is set up to have members be able to fully function right away upon joining. You may apply, (if there is an application set up) but your application will not be accepted until recruitment starts.

I am replying to this because I really like the idea of your vision. I've always consider myself a fairly decent good guy, I always give people changes and have been shot in the back a few times because of it. However this won't change my ways - it will just force me to be more careful.

Well, sure, a community page would be great (for what I think a community page is), but I have pretty much nothing right now. I don't even have the supplies in-game, because I'm coming back from a break, nor do I have an application, system, rules or anything. So keep an eye on me, and when I'm ready, I'll come find you. Please note that I don't really have any way of paying online until I get a bank account set up. I have money, but no way of transferring it digitally or writing checks or anything. So if that's required, I pretty much am sunk there at the moment.

Progress update: These updates let you know that this group hasn't gone dormant.

So yesterday, I found a bike right next to my spawn. In under and hour, I had a tent and was ready to go start a camp. But while I was heading back to the backroad where my bike was hidden, I got shot. Having shocked myself and bled out in a doorway earlier, I couldn't really hear it. But as I started crawling up the hill in hope I'd miraculously survive, I see many, many shots fired into the hill next to me, not one actually hitting me. Then he reloaded and took me down. Based on the facts, probably some scared player wasting ammo, or a bandit grubbing for loot. Either way, it was a kicker.

BUT, now, I am pretty well equipped in this life, and am searching for a vehicle. Even though I have been from Cherno and looped around the coast to Zelenogorsk, I still have yet to find even a bicycle. Perhaps today's server restart will send some vehicles my way...

Progress update:

Headed east and then north, circling back northwest near the NW airfield. I STILL did not find a vehicle, but I found a crashed helicopter site. I got a MK 48 with 3 ammo boxes, only to have them taken away when my MS decided to spike and got me kicked. Joining back I had the 1 M249 ammo box that came with the gun that was also at the helicopter. Finally, after a few times logging back in, I got to the helicopter, but couldn't find the MK 48 mags. I picked up the nearby DMR instead. I headed over to the NW airfield, got spotted by yet another zombie through the woods, then got kicked for ping again. Then I went to bed.

Progress update:

Joined in before school hoping to be able to get in the airfield. It was nighttime and raining. I didn't have any flares. Bleeding, I ran all the way to the firestation and bandaged myself up, now on orange blood. I have steaks and there's usually cows or goats around, so I should be fine. All I know is: never doing that again.

When this is going I'll join in. I've never been one for being a prick and always try and help people out.

Even if we're few in number at least some people will know there is at least one group that won't shoot on sight and only leave a trail of good will and dead Zombies in their wake.

Today, travelled ALL THE WAY from NW airfield to the east coast and near Berezino, still not finding any vehicles, even a bike. I'm having such a good time....

Hehe vehicles can be a real pain in the ass, best time is to snag one after a restart. I'm not sure if vehicles respawn tho since they fixed tents and vehicles in a previous patch.

I've been all around Chernarus with no profit but a PDW and a DMR. I'm just going to restart my character; it doesn't seem worth it to continue after I just did all that with nothing to show for it.

Progress update:

Got an enfield and an m1911. Couldn't find any enfield mags for the first time in my life. Once I do, heading over to stary.

Edit: lost my hero skin too. Didn't kill anyone, and haven't been playing on a private hive. anyone know why?

Edit: Found two, not one, but two, bikes at Cap Golova and am in Stary. Add me on skype as cjdow22

Grrh. Found A GAZ, lost the bike due to battle eye failing to update, then came back to GAZ with parts to find it gone. Never got it off the spawn point. Prolly why its gone now. Im just about to set up a camp, then ill update this place with what it actually needs. Should be tomorrow. Bump it then, please
