I keep spawning under the map after spending time on a life

Okay my problem is that everytime I start a new life, play for an hour, then get off for awhile (Since I'm kinda on a cramped schedule), then come back later, I spawn under the map on the same life, just in water, and from what I can see it looks like I'm under the map, not sure, but it appears to be so. Any ideas why this is happening? I'm using the steam version of the game, with Combined Operations.

EDIT: Now it appears to only happen when I use Camo Clothing, without Camo Clothing, I just get knocked out when I first join, then when I awaken I'm stuck in the ground... This is incredibly frustrating and any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is bug in 1.7.0 if you aren't playing on a beta server where you spawn in debug ocean on your next login after switching clothes.

You probably just got a bit more unlucky than that.

There is no BETA Chicago servers that I can find though...

You don't have to play on Chicago. There is hardly a difference between 20 ping and 60 ping seeing as the game already lags a good 4 seconds regardless.

He ment the beta patch for Operation Arrowhead mate, or at least, I believe so.

If you're not already using the beta patch, try patching to the beta patch and run with the mod there.

Rightclick your beta patch .exe of Operation Arrowhead ( when the patch IS installed in the arrowhead folder )

and make sure your target is set to as follows: \Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -mod=@DayZ -nosplash
