a noob question I want to play a private server but i dont want that private server to be filled with pirated copies... I know it does not matter but i just want to know

As far as i know BE prevents people from using a "cracked" cd-key, as they need a unique GUID, to not get kicked.

But someone will always find a way tbh, just like scripting, you can never be 100% safe.
