I think animals should be alot harder to hunt, like inagine stalking a deer through a forest with a.hunting rifle making sure to keep noise down or it bolts off, increase the health bonus of the meat as well. As.it is at the moment u can literraly walk up to a wild animal and bury a hatchet in its.head

For now only concentrate on rabbits as they have run animations and will run if you get in a certain radius.I have let loose whole clips of my pistols trying to catch some of them only to then die of starvation.Stay away from the M1911 as I still haven't figured how to shoot that thing.
