cheapest system to run dayz on?

hi guys,

I am currently playing dayZ on a high spec pc and i am trying to get my mate involved!

I was just wandering if any of you are using a lower spec pc/laptop to run dayZ and how are you finding it? he would run it on the lowest graphics if it just meant being able to play

also the make/model of your system and the price you paid for it would be great.

well, my dell inspiron 15r plays it on the lowest possible settings (800x680) but it looks like a console game, and manages 15-20 fps on windows 7, 20-45 on windows 8, and it was something like £700 when i bought it (the i5 version with 4g ram, 1g ati mobility HD5000 series gpu)

If you are low on money i wouldn't buy a laptop because it's at least 10-20% more expensive and in most cases not capable of running the game with enough details and fps.

My worst guess is that you need about 500€ to have a system that runs at minimum settings and max. 20fps. But don't do that because you buy twice.
