UK 1 - DAYZMAD.COM - The Original DayZ Private Server!

We took a break for other arma projects but we are back with our server.

We first started back in march, long before private hives were accepted.

We run a 24/7 overpowered dedicated machine, so more fps and performance for you...

Anyways! Heres some features - it's all customised and requires no EXTRA downloads!

UK 1 Info:

All new players on our server have 50/50 chance to spawn in on a parachute!

Drop down at freefall speeds and then have a chute open in key locations!

Don't worry, you will have plenty of time to figure out what to do about hungry Zeds eagerly waiting for you down below as you descend.

If however you spawn on foot you have another 50/50 chance to find a bicycle next to you. If not, there are few bicycle sheds along the coast to keep you pedaling.

If you happened to have a map in your inventory, you will most likely see some markings. Just a suggestion, it might be worth you while to investigate them! (no really.. it will be worth it).

What if you find an abandoned tent (or maybe not so abandoned)? Pack it up and take it away! Yep, on our server you can pack any tent you see as long as it is empty...our server also doesn't allow duped tents or mess attached to it.

You should also check NE Airfield sometime. Apparently it undergone serious renovation before the whole crisis started.

To spice things up a bit we also have random skin loadouts including gender variations.

We also have a stats tracking system, whitelist services, 3 tiers of custom loadouts, survivor, donator and admin.

You can also revive yourself if you die also we have a much better repair system for vehicles!

Bandits:

While we understand that Player vs Player (PvP) is inevitable and is integral part of the experience we have few tricks up our sleeves to make sure it is fair to everyone. Beware Bandits, you will be WANTED!

We also have some custom built bases, medical centers and various other cool stuff to find...

We run a night and day cycle but we have modded night time so the moon likes to come out and light things up...

We have custom vehicles and upto 5 helicopters at any one time.

UK 1 settings:

Veteran with third person ON and crosshairs ON.

We do not have any nametags and our server runs a day and night cycle.

Rules:

- Do not spam side chat

- Please try and speak English

- Whitelist players and donators get priority access if server is full.

- Ping 180 max, lowers to 150 if it gets busy.

Cheats:

We have custom anti cheat features, some unique to our server.

If we do get any hackers, all your data is regularly backed up and we can restore it with minimal effort.

Arma is open to hackers no matter what you do, they already work around "dayz anti hax" and all these advertised detections... so you can only do so much!

upcoming features:

- Supply packages: you will kill X amount of zombies and be provided with a special action to call in a random box drop from a plane, maybe medical, food or ammo/backpacks. (working on it)

- JUMP - we will be adding a jump feature.. so u can jump those silly fences...(done but not implemented)

- We have also fixed all known bugs in dayz.

- Dynamic spawned bases, we might allow you to have a base, all spawning in when the server starts!

Our admins are on in afternoons (british time) we are all arma 2 modders and or php gurus! (aka nerds? lol)

and we just finished the server now, so we have opened it up, join if you want.

Changed a few things and we also now allow women to wear skins (guille suit etc).

Skins no longer are locked to men.

upcoming:

Allow syphoning of fuel from cars aswell as removing car parts from them to put on your own car (depending if it's fixed or not)

We implemented all the changes except jumping and fuel syphoning.

You can now dis-mantle vehicles (with toolbox) for parts, also our repair system tells you what parts are needed and are damaged prior to repairing.

Women are now able to change skins.

UPDATED:

- Can now place sandbags which will turn into small fortified bunkers - you can then use these to respawn yourself when you die.. it sets as your default spawn location! no more trekking!

- Fuel and all parts of vehicles can be removed/salvaged and used to repair other vehicles you may own!

- Adjusted crash site loot, some cool BALANCED weapons now spawn, also increased drop rates of nvg's and gps's.

- Many more features & fixes - inlcuding our unique parachute spawns, bandit system and vehicle repair system...

NEW FEATURES:

-Player bases with locking gates.

You are now able to claim some bases on the map, each base has a control panel which can be activated from inside.

Once you claim the base, it's yours to own.

We have also increased loot chances of some of the rare items like nvg's and skins, also more custom balanced loot at heli crash sites.

Just wanted to bring attention to this amazing server and equally amazing community, I've been playing DayZ for more than 6 months now and have not had a better experience on any other server. Below are several key details :)

Daily active players: 358 (Changes Daily)

Max Players: 40 (Slowly increasing while monitoring stability)

Vehicles:Usually averages around 40+ however recent base raiding has lowered the number, but more spawns are added regularly

Physical Server Location: Germany

Restart timer: 4 Hours

Battleye: Enabled + Many custom anti cheat systems

3rd Person: On

Crosshairs: Off

Veteran: On

Summer: On

Admins: 24/7

Several really key points to this server are the use of custom bases, these act as a secure location for a player or group of players to capture and hold, there's a gate system incorporated which allows you to keep it secure. Great for storage!

The list of custom features and fixes for this server is rather extensive, I can only suggest you guys head on over to the servers website and be the judge yourselves :)

I've been playing on this server for over a month and have not encountered any such thing :) - The admins don't actually play the game in order to remain neutral. You'll occasionally see them flying around but that's about it.

Either way sorry to hear you did not have a enjoyable experience :)

ANyway, this server has some awesome tweaked items ingame. Additional supermarkets, humvee crashes and the like. It's cool. Come check it out.

About actions on their forums ... admin collegues (officially they are not admins but they are marked on their TS server with MH Admin) can abuse you with "full of s**t" etc. without any problems. When you ask administration to react for such words you'll hear "this forums is for adults". Admin (Killzone_Kid) sued me for cheating ... wasnt cheating. I received ban cuz i asked for proofs to clean myself.

I really dont recommend that server to play.

The worst thing about this server, is that I play on it.

As far as [EC]Peek's post is concerned, it is so full of BS, I dont really know where to start.

Lets look at his claim of an Admin being top bandit killer, go check dayzmad.com, you will see it is Astrozombie, and has been for the last month or so, Astrozombie is not a server admin, so false information from Peek there.

Do the Admins have god mode on? yes, they do, they even tell everyone on the server that they do, they also wear the skin with the red beret, so everyone can see it is them, and they do not go around playing the game as normal players do, randomly killing people, in fact, they are more likely to pick up new spawns and give them a lift than anything else.

Peek's claims about the forum, sure, the forum is moderated taking into account that most of the people that use it, are adults, and that they use adult language.

Peek is unhappy about this for one reason, there was a post made by somebody who does not speak English as a first language, so they typed in Russian, and then gave the Google Translate translation of what it was they typed, so Peek (being Polish, and not liking Russians) decided it would be a good idea to take the piss out of the guy for typing in Russian, and was told, in adult language, that if he didnt like it, he didnt have to read it.

Peek is also upset because he got caught trying to cheat, by using an SUV to glitch through the walls of a base, while he was trying this, he was blissfully unaware that an admin was actually in the base at the time, and watching him, so he was seen attempting it, was called out on it, and decided to lie, and give the admin abuse about it, so he was banned.

The facts are, if you want to play on a private server, where you have plenty of vehicles to find and claim, player bases that you can find, take over and defend, parachute spawns, custom crash sites with custom loot spawns, Admins that actually admin the server, and actively remove cheats and script kiddies, has a good community ( well, its good if you ignore me ;p ) made up of bandits and survivors, then UK1 is a server you want to take for a test drive.

Just want to put in my 2 cents about this server.

I found it a week or so ago and been playing pretty regular during the day.. so far I have really enjoyed it and had no bad experiences with admins.

The modifications to the map they have made for it are interesting and they have a base system, which although I haven't actually had a chance to mess about with it yet, does look pretty cool.

So not disputing anything other posters have said, just that I personally have been playing on it and found it really good so far. The zombies are tougher though, be warned!
