obliterati 0 Posted October 15, 2012 (edited) so i normally just seem to get aggro'd more then my buddy, and zombies always seem to spawn in large numbers around me more then other people i know and many times litterally right on top of me (usually inside a building), and this finally came to a head.I was on a server that eventually everyone left and i was the only one remaining. I found a bike and was riding around. everytime i went by any urban area the zombie counter litterally went from 0 to 50-60 in a second, then as soon as i got out of town it would trickle down to litterally 0 and id hit the next town or whereever i wanted to go and BAM! 50-60 zombies in every direction around me.Is this normal?I go inside buildings and even if i had no aggro, or its a 6 story building, i have waves of zombies coming in after me. Also i seem to go in building after building and theres either no gear, or its an entire building full of backpacks or one specific item...what am i doing wrong? ive watched my buddies play several times, and they simply dont ever have more then a few zombies that seem to be asleep around them! and this type of thing happens to me all the time! (read: buildings)When you're in the forest or fields, there will be no zombies spawning, because there's no spawnpoints for them there.When you ride through a town, you go past several spawnpoint hotspots, and the zombies stay for a while after spawning, but they DO despawn when you move far enough from them, which is why the zombie population goes from 0 to 50-60. Jex =TE= (DayZ) 218 Posted October 15, 2012 Zombies shouldn't be spawning if ur on/in a vehicle. If they are, something's wrong (or ur playing on a private hive but even then i don't think this is fixed yet). I currently have the female character (due to an unfortunate click of the mouse) and I have the same issue you do with gear - sometimes nothing spawns except the things you can only pick up via the scroll wheel.As for zombies I'm not sure why you would be getting so many - is this on the public or private servers?
