And am literally shitting my pants whenever I log in. Instead of raiding cities, I now raid small villages. Instead of eating beans, I now kill game and eat meat.

Anyone else know the emotional trauma I am going through?

Yep I was on 18 days when I logged in last night. And was dead within about 15minutes. If anything it's breathed fresh air into the game. :D

Never make it that far for the opposite reason.

I usually raid Cherno or Elektro, get a descent weapon and some gear. Then I truck north, get a load of passable gear maybe an AK, matches, knife, ect. I realize I could live for 100 days in the woods raiding dear huts and cooking steaks. Quickly get bored and go to higher risk areas closer to the coasts and die sooner or later.

I love how people cry about this game being to easy when everyone else is playing DayZ the survival horror game and they are playing Cabela's DayZ Xtreme Camping simulator in the middle on the North woods. (not referring to you, if you have fun staying away from everyone more power to you).

had a character for a bit over 20 days, logged in to ny7 boom nuked by hacker.

While i do chose to play every life i get a different way, i seem to be going through certain stages along the way.

-At spawn i have a the best time acquiring all the basics with minimal gear.

-Then you get mediocre gear and a few basics..start being more aggressive.

-Eventually i get shinies and turn into a paranoid sociopath.

-Then i get bored and start living in Stary/NWA/NEA full time and eventually die.

Rinse and repeat lol. I am currently in between 3 and 4.

Yes...just pray you don't find a working vehicle like I did at 15 days...I was so happy when I found a Bus that I could finally drive a vehicle that I threw all my stealth habits out the window and drove through Berezino honking the horn until someone quite rightly stepped out of the general store and shot me in the face with their M4 to shut me up...from happy to sad in the space of 5 minutes...I got back to my body but my precious GPS was gone

I was alive for a long time once.

I spawned at the big damn where I last logged off with a group.

When I logged in one of those members was with another group of guys and they came in to extract me from the area with a Huey.

The Huey landed and they got out, I had my DMR raised and I was looking at one of the guys that got out....and then he shot me.

This seems to happen for me too.

There will be some times where I will respawn and try to hang around the coast healing people, but that only lasts a couple hours until someone shoots you in the face while you're asking them if they need medical attention.
