I posted this here as you locked the thread. Are you sure there is absolutely no room for failure? Nothing is perfect and mistakes have been made with even bigger things than this. Also is there any way to contact Battleye for some support because I understand now that you cant do anything about it.

I have a serious question also:

What if (as an example) you run a server at home (talking about Arma here - not DayZ) and within that server you have scripted events in the mission file - but you also have other user controlled scripted events (say spawning something at a specific location). Is Battleye going to ban you from Arma2 MP because you were messing around in your own server (and doing something not even directly related to DayZ?)

It depends what you mean by spawning stuff, if you are using a resource outside of the mission files then its a possibility, you will have to wait until battleye release some more info.

I just tried to join a game and after it loaded or got past the receiving part, I saw red splotches and saw a message saying battle-something global ban. Any help?

Also, there was a message that popped up on the screen real fast as I saw the red splotches.

I read another thread with a similar issue and it was replied to with an old-ass "deal with it" picture. I don't think this is very funny considering I bought this game when it was new so I could play other multiplayer games, not just DayZ.
