Yeah id love to see these kind of planes on Dayz, as imagine how cool it would be seeing a plane carrying a UAZ and then dropping it off somewhere in the wilderness :D The Sukhoi SU-38L is another agricultural aircraft common to Russia. Another kind of plane I'd like to see is a freight plane, useful for loading all types of different things into, be they small vehicles, massive amounts of loot, bodies. Ahem. You get the idea. The Sukhoi SU-80 wouldn't be too uncommon for Russia

Okay so this is what happened, I've been gearing up on OCB2sGs clans Panthera server. Then I find the Admins camp and 6 people are there (admins). I raised the all mighty beast, the AS 50 and pulled the trigger. So when I when went down to loot the bodies they said in side chat ''It would've been unfortunate if a server restart would come up ( they have certain times for their restarts and this one was random) and down to the left it says ''Server restart in 1 min'' so i rush back to the cars to get the good weapons into the vehicles so it wouldn't dissapear and the server restarted and I picked up my friend that was 400 meters away from me, and by the time we get back, an admin is back with soldier clothing and a MK 48 Mod 0 (all of the dead admins had the same gear when i killed them, MK 48 Mod 0 and soldier clothings) and he killed my friend and I don't know if I died because i had a pretty good reason to Alt+F4 this time, and they blamed it was a server error so they got all their gear back, LEGIT!?!?!

No Alt + F4'ing to escape other players. Don't care if you do this to get away from zombies. Refrain from killing fresh spawns. You won't get banned if you happen to kill one, mostly what we mean here is don't camp the beaches looking for new spawns to kill. (Robbing, taking em hostage is fine). No using barbed wire or tank traps to block off popular spawn sites (fire stations, churches, etc). Exceptions to this are if you are inside the building at the time or if you are using the location as your home base. No begging admins for weapons or vehicles. If we want you to have it, we will add it as a spawn to the map where everyone can compete for it. No VOIP in side chat. We don't wanna hear your music, heavy breathing, TV, etc. No trolling or harassment over side chat. No excessive use of bad language, racist comments, basically use your common sense. We're not gonna kick your for expressing your displeasure in the fact that we just killed you, but just don't go overboard. Things we DO allow Kill on sight (KOS) is allowed though we encourage you to interact more with other players as we are trying to build a community here. Bandits are welcome, though we'd much prefer you truly play a bandit - hostage taking, robbing, etc are encouraged over just shooting on sight, though you won't get punished for KOS. Base building at major locations. If you can protect it, it's within your rights to own any spot on the map. Be prepared to really have to fight hard for the more popular spots. Role-playing is encouraged though not required. Anyone purposefully trolling or abusing someone attempting to roleplay will be dealt with harshly. Forming your own groups / clans. We'd love to have more players on the server, whether bandit or survivor. If somehow you lose your gear / vehicles due to a hacker, the admins will work on replacing what we can. If you lose it due to zombies, bugs or glitch, we will not replace it. Sorry for this but it's impossible for us to prove you really lost the stuff this way. Interested in joining? I'm also having this problem, my server is the HFBservers, the only vehicles that save items are Ural and VS. I sent a ticket to them but they said it would be a problem in mod.

Ugh... really? Now you're removing the ambulances and UH60M as well? Come on! If you're removing the Humvee Ambulance, at least add the S1203 Ambulance back in... And isn't there an alternative to the medivac helicopter (or is it possible to remove the healing ability)? This patch was the best one yet, as it finally added more vehicles (especially helicopters), and now all we get is a two-seat littlebird... Please explore alternative air vehicles, as this is just such a shame and buzzkill. I'm tired of the Huey.

I would like to see more Russian Crash sites, but also you could add Vehicle stash sites. Imagine your running through a forest and come to a clearing and there is a Russian truck parked up with special military gear on it. It could be the same level of military spawns as a chopper, they shouldn't only have choppers and barracks for relevant gear. The more i think of it there should be more Loot spawns near or around all vehicles.

You don't have a map at fresh spawn. You need to find one. The first thing you could do is find a little town (avoid Cherno and Electro if you are unarmed) and get basic gear. You can find Lee Enfields, soda cans and food in farms. You need a map and a compass, so loot the red and orange houses (pretty sure you will find makarovs and m1911's). Supermarkets to get a sweet Alice Pack and you're on. Head to a large city to get morphine in a Hospital. If you want better (military) weapons and you're afraid to been killed in Cherno Electro, just travel along wilderness (if you have hatched, matches and knife, you can hunt animals) and scout for deer stands, usually located in tree lines. Vehicles... well, take in mind that in most cases all vehicles are taken and they are pretty hidden. But probably you can find them in the forrest in the north edge of the map.

I have my own server. I rented 1 for a few months in the past and finally 1 day I had 2-3 hackers constantly loggging in and teleporting all vehicles so I shut it down. I thought with the new update things would be diffrent but I was wrong. Even in a private server tonight somone managed not only to hack but they took control of my server. They could talk in global chat and ban players. The cheat is not good enough to remove bans but they can still kick who ever they want. Any idea how they do this and how to prevent it or termiate the hack ? IP Removed. I did a GUI ban but he came back after server restart with a new name and new gui.

i was thinking that tons of the hackers would stop if we are able to keep our stuff on death and more vehicles maybe have a editor or free play to build up a base and hold out for the people that like the game but hate losing there hard earned stuff and for roleplaying

So, recently I have become somewhat bored of DayZ. I've learned to survive by myself easily, I've made my camps secure and filled them with goodies, have found multiple vehicles and have fixed them up myself (then had most stolen -_-), and have had my fair share of player and bandit encounters. I've played on Lingor Island and Namalsk and found them both a nice change, but i eventually lost interest in them as well. Also worth mentioning, banditry isn't in my nature and I do not find it fun whatsoever. Does anyone have any ideas on what can help reignite my initial DayZ excitement?

So recently I've been looking at joining private hives and it's given the mod a new breath of life for me. Unfortunatly the hives I've joined almost always end up being the stomping ground for some clan who are really just using the private hive as an excuse to control 1 or more helicopters which in turn allows them to find any and all vehicles, camps and crash sites. Playing cat and mouse with a clan can be fun for a while but it can get tiresome if you're always the mouse, dying and being sent back to the coast on an almost daily basis. So really what I'm looking for is a medium-high populated server where I could play solo or duo with a friend, where we wouldn't just get obliterated over and over again by a single dominant squad or clan. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm looking for the best host website that gives out private hive servers with the most tools available for the best price (custom vehicles spawns, admin tools, possible extended battleye controls, etc). I don't need anything large, just 30 slots.

Thought about it, but I thought that'd be a waste, since their location is known by a semi-sized clan, and maybe I could steal out of them. But right now, there's a war going on between 2 clans, and I'm sort of on the side of the rivals of the vehicle pack-owning clan, so blowing them up would help in the oncoming battles (as the clan could come up and fuel 'em up when they need more vehicles...)

So I'm on my regular Private Hive (which I will not give the name/info for), where I found a whole pack of vehicles with no fuel in most of them. I could spend a long time making fuel runs for 'em, and put them in my camp, which would make my camp easier to find and they would be virtually unused, or I could do something else with them. What do y'all think I should do with them?
