For the last 5-8 days I've been playing on a Private server where the Admins play alongside players. Everyday when they are on no amtter where my group has been, how long we were there, or what were driving this group of Admins hops out of their black SUV and kill us. They have AS50's, MK48's, and all of the grand stuff. The issue was yesterday when we were parked in a field. Our vehicles were hidden and we had 2 snipers in tree lines. Neither of the snipers saw them coming and they ripped through the majority of the group. Once that happened we the remaining survivors saw a black sUV slide in. I shot the SUV twice in the center with a M107 and my friend said he did the same as well. We both died and on 3 of us it jsut said we had died. With no explaination at all (The server shows it who was killed, by what, and by who) It was the same guy who killed all 3 of us and it was about 30 seconds apart. Could he possibly be a hacker? That jsut confused me on why it wouldn't do that. Also how many shots should an M107 take to kill an SUV?

I have not seen a compelling one yet ? I find it the same with or without crosshair. Its just roll the mouse while you are slowly moving if front of ladder/tent etc until you find the sweet spot, ch has never made it easier for me. Notifications..mfg. The people whinge about servers being too hard and server owners dumb them down to score more of a player base, sad but true. I miss all of the hardcore servers that used to run back in the beginning. Now i have a choice of whether i want one with 30 helicopters and 300 vehicles (always full) or one with work hard for that elusive set of wheels ( hardly anyone on). The masses go where it is easiest. Fraggle my man, you summed it up well.

Finally got to my old account. Anyways, server is always improving and has website now. Ts3 usually has people to talk to. Still tons of vehicles and awesome bases are around

NZ Orcon servers are terrible. I was on last night and there were boxes full of hacked weapons and planes crashing around survivors every 2 minutes. It was literally raining planes. I had a hatchet and saw this bandit on an ATV and decided I wanted it, I started hacking at him and drove off in his ATV, and he didn't even care! Hacked vehicles were everywhere. So I let him have his ATV, found an SUV and went to the NWA running over all of the zombies down the airstrip.

I like Taviana , it's a different feel from Chernarus. It looks like it's only been days since the apocalypse. Everything is mostly intact, the roads wide, straight and free of wrecks and blockades. Because of that, driving on Taviana is a lot more fun than on Chernarus. Going off-road is not mandatory, so even the crappy cars are fun to drive. It's also easy to hide a car on Taviana. On the other hand, if you don't have a car, the map can be really boring as it takes forever to get around on foot. The walls and fences surrounding many buildings will annoy the hell out of you. Also, the off-shore oils rigs or islands where teams can safely land their choppers seem a bit cheap. On some servers, all the choppers and boats can be hoarded away from the mainland. Overall, it's a lot easier than Chernarus because there are so many vehicles and medium/high yield military buildings. Some city are also very easy to loot because the zombies are sparse, or sometimes they even get stuck and never come after you.

DayZ Taviana: Random VW drives past my Ural. I follow him (wasn't actually thinking I would get him), he tries to "ambush" me in the next village. I drive past him, stop. He tries to block me. I put the pedal to the medal, push him thru an open field, accidentally manage to drive on his roof. Reverse a bit, push him into a forest into the first massive oak. Well, the tree didn't survive. push him into the next tree, that one didn't survive aswell. Push him into a house at the edge of Sabina, his car starts burning (he got out shortly before that), starts shooting my Right Front Wheel with his Winchester. Shot it 5-6 times, wheel damaged (not destroyed tho). I get out, shoot him with my FAL 2 times, he's dead. Never mess with a Ural driver that knows what his tank on wheels is capable of. And more important: Never stand in the way of a Ural. If necessary, i'm gonna push u 3km far until I find the next massive tree / house / wall that will resist a Ural. A few hours after that, played on a Chernarus 700+ vehicles server. Found an Ural and an Enfield with 2 Mags. Drive through Elektro and Cherno to get to the Balota Airstrip. At the outskirts of Chernogorsk a green hatchback starts following me. I slow down, ram him off the road. He still follows me, i ram him again, into a tree. somehow his car was still working. so i rammed him once again, only slightly this time (he got what im trying to do after the 3rd time), resulting in him (to be exact them) to lose 2 wheels. They ( 2 bandits) get out and start shooting my Urals wheels. Unluckily for them they had a M249 SAW and managed to destroy one of my wheels. Made a roadblock / cover turn with my Ural, got out. Shot the first of them, unconscious. The other one manages to somehow hit my leg thru the 2 rear axis, resulting in my legs broken. Rolled out behind the Ural (that idiot was sprinting towards me), took aim, shot him in the head. crawled to his buddy, said "you decided to mess with the wrong person. not today son, remember that." and executed him aswell. One of them had morphine in their inventory, luckily. Their hatchback also had a spare wheel in the trunk, so i could patch up my Ural again. decided to move off from Balota as i heard a few DMR / AS50 shots aswell as a squad of at least 3 Assault Rifle buddys (counted AKM shots, could be PKM aswell tho, G36 shots and a few STANAG rounds.) returning fire on them (luckily i watched the side chat a bit so i could see a few random notes from a random guy lying around under the collapsed watch tower behind the hangars (if u know what i mean), who said "epic squad fight going on here" etc.. Well. Ural Power!

Assuming no one responds to my trade post for vehicles, I would like to exchange my 6 magazines of AS50 ammunition for M107 ammunition. I don't deal with vehicles much so I have no need for instant vehicle destruction much. We limited the number of Helicopters because we felt they take away from the immersion of the game. We have added more bicycles, ATVs, etc. We also have active admins and if a hacker is found he/she will be banned and any damage will be undone. Had a rabbit chasing after me (i was on a push bike) after i shot a guy outside novy sobre, the rabbit was yelling over side for me to stop... i didnt, then my legs broke.. but i was still riding the bike, but i decided to stop be fore getting insta killed, he asked me why i killed the dude yada yada, i gave some BS excuse, he then offered to grant one wish o free gear, excluding vehicles, i asked for a coyote back pack and i got it >:( BAD KingOchaos taking gear from hackers :( This would be around june i think, at the time most creative hacker id seen

Yes, we lost our stuff many times over as well. I had a group of around 4-5 guys. (Dead Dude, Trapper_J0hn, Sn33kyPanda, Doopy, Valorous Reaper, & I feel like im missing one or 2 still lol) We had around 4-5 vehicles collected + at one point we had all 3 choppers until we crashed 2 of them >_> We found those choppers at a hidden base far NE. We had used the Mi-17 to search in remote areas(which we had found at devils castle...which is the spawn area for it). The reason I called abuse is because I was banned for no reason. We had a large group and we worked fast. We knew the good spots to get geared up. As for the huey the only huey we got was at skalisty island + the huey we found later on, at the hidden base far NE. Our base was West of the NW Airfield. Thats where we kept our choppers & vehicles. As for the PBX I dont remember a 100% but im pretty sure we didnt have that. Unless one of my other group members recently found it. As for vehicle hoarding I hardly call 4-5 vehicles hoarding -. - That makes no sense to me especially when we retrieve them legitly. I made an exact list of our groups stuff above. So you banned the wrong guy. Its w/e im not holding a grudge its fine. I own my own server and sometimes ban very suspicious behavior. I also search in the different log files for spawners, teleporters & all the other crap out there. Some players show up in the suspicious areas that you keep a watch on but that doesnt mean they're hacking. For instance they show up if they blow something up. They didn't hack, it even says so all over the web. I did tons of research on that before just out right banning ppl. Its extremely obvious in the server files when people are changing the scripts n junk. So for me to show up in your file probably means I blew something up & I sure as hell did that night lol. So did some of my friends n yet they didn't get banned. Its fine if you want to keep me banned I play on a different server w/my buddies now but I wish you would look closer. I did not hack nor shall I ever. I understand the frustrations of dealing with hackers believe me, so I dont totally blame you. I just hope you trust me now.

Since when is 400+ vehicles "untouched"?!

I've just signed up with this company and so far I'm thoroughly fed up. I've had downtime every day now, sometimes twice or more during the same day. My clan are refusing to use the server because its unreliable, on several separate occasions I've had complaints that clan members have lost air vehicles or died due to the server going offline. You can't play DayZ on a server with this amount of downtime, as regular players will know if you're in a heli and the server goes offline the heli crashes and you die, if you're in a car and the server goes offline you can die when you respawn (it's happened to me before). Right now, I'd recommend dayz.st because they're my next choice if HFBServers don't sort it out!

Me and 2-3 of my mates are looking for any UK or EU-based Lingor servers with a whitelist/active admins. Tired of hackers, admin abuse, childish side chat spams and general chicanery on open servers. We're not particularly bothered whether it's Veteran or normal, has additional vehicles or spawn loadouts. We just want to play in a better, more pleasant environment.
