Hello everyone, I have a query regarding vehicles on my server. What happens if I spawn a vehicle for an event on my server using admin tools, do I have to make any changes to any XLM files?

In types.xml - change the lifetime value of the base car (not the various parts such as doors and wheels) to 3888000. Default is 3 seconds, since vehicles are handled by events and don't need a lifetime. But if you spawn it with admin tools the server uses the lifetime in types.xml, so the car will despawn as soon as no player is within sight of the car...

It seams that Dayz are a firm that don’t care about the game at all. I’ve been playing this wonderful game for five years. It seams that this new update of 1.17 is the worst ever. So I’ve now looked at this update and hopefully these bugs are in need to be fixed. 1. Vehicles (trucks & Cars start and move before they due to start. 2. Pouches can’t be used when on body. 3. Gun holster Can’t be used when on plate carrier. 4. The cz550 sight is out when you shoot. 5. The Backpack can’t be used when connected to body. 6. Trucks get ruined when engine goes in the red counter needs extra gear for trunks. please fix theses

Hey! So my brother and I got fed up of getting really far in a DayZ game, just to be hacked to death or teleported into the middle of nowhere - So we bought our own server and want to make it as user friendly as possible. We've basically done everything we can to get rid of all of the things that annoyed us before i.e. lack of vehicles, night-time, hackers etc. So we've thrown in as many vehicles as we could fit, made the server constant-day, and purchased TSW Anti-Hack. More often than not, one of us will be online watching over the game, kicking unruly players, answering questions, even giving lifts if necessary to make sure that everyone is happy. And as for those annoying little blips in the DayZ mechanics where you suddenly glitch out and teleport 20 feet into the air; well, you don't have to worry about that, if you die, we'll get you right back on track with the same weapons in the same spot in no time! Also, just for fun, we'll be running occasional in-game events, that can reward you with rare equipment - but fairness is our main priority We're hoping to build up a friendly community, we've already got a hero and a couple bandits, and we need some more players...
