When I join an Origins server all the vehicles I come across are fully broken and I have no problem what so ever repairing them but all I wanna know is it it worth doing so. I mean can they despawn at any event (eg restart) so it was a complete waste of time repairing them? Does Official and Unofficial servers change all this?!?! Will it waste time? HELP Thank you.

Unified Apocalypse is a new community starting out trying to offer the best DayZ server experience possible for you guys, the public. We have just started our first server which is a PvP server with the amazing Sarge AI Framework. We are currently in the making of a feature that will make the server a lot more fun. This feature involves the complete revamp of the airfields and turning them in to full bases containing a lot of loot. Each airfield will be specific to the AI groups. North West will be the Bandit airfield which will only have ONE entrance unless you fly in by chopper. The place will be crawling with Bandits that just want to kill you, the Airfield will be full of custom buildings and box's containing amazing loot, this would be very similar to Salvation Island on DayZ Origins. The other airfields will be survivors and heroes but the loot will not be as good. This server is made as players want it meaning your starting loadout doesn't have much on it and there is literally no scripts on. No autorefuel meaning you will have to get a Jerry can to fill up. Hello everyone. So I bought DayZ yesterday.. decided to get the original game after a little "tryout" on cracked version. I absolutely fel in love with the game so me and my friend, we decided to get own server. I got some experience with games and modding after playing Valheim, Conan Exiles and Skyrim with mods, so we really wanted some extra features. We got like 11 mods on the server, everything runs smooth except one issue. And that drives us crazy - theres no "start engine" option after we enter a vehicle. First I thought its just one bugged vehicle, but then I found another one and there was the same issue.. when u enter the car, theres just one option and thats exiting the car. Simply no way to start its engine. And yes... all vehicle parts are pristine. Nothing is damaged nor ruined. Spark plugs, radiator filled with water, battery fully charged, got enough fuel, the car is pristine! - even got both lights working ^^ Aaaanyway.. i did some research and when I spawn the vehicle via Community online tools mod as admin, the car is fully operational. Sooo.. im wondering if thats not an issue caused by some mod on the server. Mods list: Trader, CF, Dabs Framework, DayZ Expansion ( + Core, Licensed, Vehicles and Book), Community online tools, IRP Land Rover Defender 110, Windstrides Clothing Pack. Also.. I've ben messing around with "types.xml", but i was JUST editing the lifetime.. like changing "<lifetime>3</lifetime>" to "<lifetime>3888000</lifetime>", everything was done exactly according the YT tutorials. The only other change in the "types.xml" folder was adding the rubles to the loot pool which I suppose has nothing to do with my issue. Soooo.. - world cars doesn't work.. simply no way to start the engine. - spawned cars via the community online tools work just fine. Anyone ever experienced this issue? or know how to fix that please? Thanks in advance! :)

I'm using Pwnoz0r's DayZ Private Server Pack, which apparently does not include any sort of script to delete vehicles that have been left outside the normal boundaries of the map. I had asked on OpenDayZ.net about this, but the thread isn't getting any attention, so I figured I'd ask here as well. Pwnoz0r's DayZ Private Server Pack uses a script in the MySQL (technically I think it calls itself InnoDB but everything seems to treat it as MySQL) database called pCleanup to perform certain cleanup functions on startup, and this script is called from pMain which handles spawning of vehicles. Vehicle locations are stored in a format that looks like this: [239,[4896.77,10135.8,0.081]] What I need to be able to do is modify the pCleanup to check the 'Worldspace' column for each vehicle in the database, determine if the vehicle is outside of the map (presumably by checking if the X or Y are negative), and then delete a vehicle where that returns true. I guess the basic syntax would be something like this: DELETE FROM object_data WHERE <vehicle is outside of map> Obviously I have no clue how to write the part where it determines if a vehicle is outside of the map, so if someone could give me a hand with that, then that would be awesome. ;)
