Zombieland Server is a very new server (just about a week old) that was made because we were sick of server admins kicking and banning players that kill them as well as doing other ridiculous things with their powers. (Such as spawning gear, vehicles, etc, etc.) Our server IP is 192.31.185.208 Port 3440 We host from Los Angeles, California giving great connection to most of the West coast, as well as mid East! Our server is pretty laid back, we don't care if you kill the bambies or whatever, but we do have a few rules: - All standard rules (No hacking etc.) - Don't use voice on the side channel. (It's annoying, especially if your mic is bad.) - Combat logging against players will be punished. (Please report this to an Admin) - Don't be a dick. (Many may think this falls under the first rule, but somepeople are to stupid to comprehend that.) While we are obviously new to hosting, and running a DayZ server, we do have a few plugins to get us all started, such as. - Auto Refuel! - Ai Bandits! - Custom Buildings ! - More Crash Sites! - Max vehicles! - Extra Weapons! As well as some that are coming soon! - HALO Jump! - Street Lights! - Fast Rope! - Ground Fog! - and more! If you have expierence with plugins for DayZ.st please do contact me! (I'm a huge noob and am having trouble finding out how to add HALO jump and Street Lights :( We are considering hosting server events such as DayZ Hunger Games, possibly with in game rewards, aswell as Steam gifts, but any news on that will be released when the server grows to a respectable enough size to host such events. Hello, I have been having this problem since the update, it is like the old problem that got patched a long time ago, vehicles do not respawn back to their designated spawn points after being destroyed. The gear contents remain in the vehicle even after it is destroyed, and the vehicle respawns back where you destroyed it after a server restart. How many servers are having this problem, too? I would appreciate feedback from any server admins / owners who are also having this trouble on their servers. Thanks for reading.

Hello everyone! I currently run a server with my fiancee that has quickly become one of the most popular No PvP (Please, do not focus on this. I hear enough of it in the server) servers. We currently use Dayz.st but are unhappy with the almost daily DDOS attacks as well as the lack of access to files for script work. We got an HFB server to play with since it was on sale at 50% off and while it gives us more access to the server, I'm not a fan of how they add in more vehicles. With .st we simply use the map tool to place many vehicles of all types all over the server at our whim. We don't need to worry about getting the coords or anything. From what I've seen you haave to get the X and Y to place one vehicle that takes MUCH, MUCH longer than what we are used to. Currently we have roughly 400 spawn points on the map so this is simply insane if we were to try to move over. Recently I was directed to Vilayer who after a look over we are VERY interested in them. Are they more like HFB or .st? We plan on getting TSW to put an end to our daily hacker attacks and when we saw they were affiliated we liked that. Essentially I would like a server that gives us full control, a map that can be given to our staff to moniter the server, and the ability to spawn a large number of vehicles. I admit this is only our 3rd month with the server but we have a very dedicated community and would like to expand in ways we are currently restricted by. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. We got the HFB to test out and see how we liked it but we're not overly thrilled. I have tried increasing the number of vehicle spawns but get nowhere with it. We are hesitant to purchase the Vilayer to play around with seeing as it would be $40 down the drain should we not like it. That is why I have come here to get your opinions on this very important matter. Are there any server hosts who provide all the things we are looking for?

Is there a way to have custom vehicles/buildings on a private hive without installing any mods like Bliss or DayZCC? I have scoured google for a few hours now and all I seemed to come up with was adding to world_vehicle and instance tables. In my installation I didn't use any mods like this and just downloaded the @dayz1.7.7 server files and added them to my arma2 installation. The server is up and running great, but I just don't know where to begin customizing without having to install DayZCC, Bliss, etc... Also... is it because I am on 1.7.7, now that I only have 7 tables (character_data, character_dead, object_classes,object_data, object_spawns, player_data, & player_login) in the database? Before, on1.7.6.1, I had many different world_ids and instance tables, etc and could add custom buildings and vehcile spawns... though the initial install was with DayZCC which could be the reason too. I was just wondering if 1.7.7 changed the database schema or if I can cjust add these "instance" tables and the DayZ server will just find them or if those old tables had something to do with DayZCC. And yet another question -- I noticed it takes around 45 minutes for UH-1Y helicopters crash spawn to spawn on my server. Is that normal? I am kind of new to the DayZ server world and just want to know if it is easy to add custom spawn to a vanilla server or if it is easier/better to use one of the admin tools out there. Thanks in advance for any input.

I think it would be very helpful and cool if in certain vehicles passengers can shoot out of the vehicle. I just think it would be more realistic because in real life in a zed apocalypse who wouldn't shoot at people/zeds as hey drive by rather than stopping and getting out?
