Dayz lacks other realism aspects. Why aren't there like a 1000 vehicles? Is it a zombie apocalypse or a nuclear one? Most vehicles should be in good condition to use. And even if there were 1000 vehicles, and only 30 players, a new player would never find a vehicle, because groups/clans like doing vehicle collections.... And how is getting shot from nowhere or robbed good? Just creates a very deep frustration inside of me that's enough to make me stop playing for months and return later only for the same shit to happen again. Players are far more interested on killing one another then zombies. Some server look like Counter Strike really, only difference is that it's zombie edition.

That's not easy to enforce unless you have someone watching everyone on the server 24/7. I could create a "safe zone" on my server if you're interested. Anyone entering the area would get teleported away. Unfortunately, it's usually pretty dead but I don't really advertise it. I should start. lol. Running Tavi right now with Sarge's AI, debug monitor, clear weather, added buildings, vehicles and a few hidden bases.

Not for me. I hosted a server for myself and my friends and we had a blast. For once, we could actually make bases, keep vehicles and gear.

Idea: Add a foldable bicycle into DayZ,which can be found in residential buildings. Explain:In his normal mode you can use it like the a normal bike. But when the bike is folded,it will replace your backpack and you can carry it around. Useful in the gear of your car when a wheel get broken,or you dont want to leave the bike alone. did you read the poll? Have you followed the dev blogs? from what I have seen certain aspects of the game are going to be either inaccesable or very hard for solo players. such as heli flying and repairing vehicles etc etc. on a side note... good poll. not sure what everyone moaning about anyone with any sense will do what I did and splitt in it 2 halves and to them 1 hour apart.

Indeed, I'd like to see something RPG or AT-4-esque that occupied the backpack slot as a super-rare military drop for dealing with vehicles.

Finaly found a post about this. A tracking elemt should def be added. Aswell as vehicles leave tracks. For example. If the same rout is used in the forest by a vehicle eventally it should get grinded up by the tiers. Add tracking elemt to it. Aswell as a dog that you can let smell of leftover soda cans etc to smell and get you going in the right direction. Maybe even teach the dog to be good att tracking a sertain type of animal or himan etc. But yead thread maker got my beans.

arma 3 vehicles are "durable" because its all bugged....like the fact you can drive a hunter with no wheels, or the pickups go from like 20kph to like 100kph with no warning and are close toImpossible to stop...

You can't see tents. I suppose you can guess where they are based on a player being in the middle of the woods for no other reason but you can;t see their location. You also can't see exact locations of players/vehicles, just approximate. Players are also quick to call 'admin cheats'. I admin on a server but 99% of the time I only have the kick/ban/chat stuff on not the live map. There is no fun in knowing where other players are. I do spend most of my game though looking for bases and vehicles in odd places. with a chopper it's quite easy to spot vehicles even in the woods and after a while you get to know the places people put them. Quite a few players will moan about hackers or admin abuse when their camps get raided, but when you park two choppers in a clearing or have like 5 vehicles in the woods with like a Ural in there they are going to get found and people are going to go find the tents that are near them. The OP makes a good point though, if admins abuse their powers the server will loose it's population. I also don't see the point of admins using the map to find player bases and stealing stuff when you can literally spawn in anything you want, so they are just essentially trolling. Checking camps though is a good way of spotting the more subtle hackers, like when you find a tent with 40+ stanag SD rounds or 6 cayote packs and the guys have been on the server for like a day!

You are more than welcome. Its open to all and small teams might just get a bit of an edge on it too. Objectives vary and feature things such as hits, killing a target with specific items, capturing players, healing/helping players, surviving, building check points, repairing vehicles, destroying vehicles, securing areas and much much more! I am delighted to announce the return of our popular Bounty HunterZ event on our own private hive server! For those of you who aren't aware, Bounter HunterZ was an event we ran last year successfully for a number of months and we have now re-opened. The BSB Bounty HunterZ event is a weekly ongoing tournament designed for our own Day Z Factions and other Lone Wolves or private teams that play on our server. The idea of the event is that a weekly "hit" list and bonus objectives are posted on our events page here to give players who are looking for more action and some structured team based play and ongoing objectives. Participants are rewarded with Faction Funds ($) for completing the objectives, or in some cases just by surviving!. Faction Funds can then be used to purchase weapons, ammo, vehicles, tools, building materials, consumables etc. from our Faction Store - available via our. It looks pretty good and i am kinda excited for more vehicles and customization but this update really encourages clan/group play, which is kinda causing issues throughout origins were clans well establish themself on a server, gear up, go to spawn zones and wreck new players and solo players that cant fight back, giving them strongholds only makes that prospect even scarier, just throwing that out there!

You didn't know where berinzino was. Had no clue what the sound of the shotgun was shooting at you, and kept asking questions about the gear and vehicles we had. You also didn't know where you were on the coast and didn't look at the text. Declined, sorry.

TLD wanna R; Be careful who you make your Admins, They can drive away players with their abuse of powers. I was on a server that was looking for regular players, they want people to donate for perks and assist in keeping it running. No issue with that! started with around 10 - 15 in the server and with my group of friends there was an extra 6 or so people on all the time, some good mini battles between other bandit groups of 2 or 3 people. So i'm considering donating to help the owner out and heck i get some perks out of it aswell. Have our tent 1.5k out from the NEAF.. So i'm at the airfield after a restart and all of a sudden I hear a heli. It flies right over me and is heading directly where our tent is. So i get back to our tent and all our good stuff is gone..........Like every Sniper, Every Med supply. Left the various parts for vehicles etc and other small arms. I'm like "How did the Heli know where our tent was?", usually I don't care but you know that suspicious feeling you get... like he was directly on point to our tent, I doubt he was just scanning the trees for tents. It was a dead straight shot to our tent. Person does a winky face and sez "MAGIC"... So i call him out on comms and he sez "NO VOICE ON SIDE".... I say "Use your admin map to spy on me to loot other groups tents?".... "Laughs sez donate for admin if you don't like it" Kicks me... I join in and on the loading screen it lists the owners of the server and a few admins "he's on the list of admins" Come back in and calmly say "plenty of servers out there with admins who don't want to cheat to get ahead, I advise all other groups here to consider finding another place to make their home" Look at the server a few days later only tops 6 people in the server lol... mostly it's 2 hahaha
