Hi there, Not that anyone reads this, but I'd like to apologize for possibly implying that US 88 is full of cheaters. I think it's a bug in the game and vehicles are seriously fucked at the moment. I've been using this server as a home base for awhile now and appreciate it. Thanks for that, I'm having a good time. If we ever cross paths in-game I'll try not to shoot you. Cheers! i had one of those moments. found a atv (after server restart i'm guessing was rolled) in kranostav. hoped on just needed some fuel. told my group. found fuel and went back to it. TS convo went like this: ME: ok i'm heading out now with atv. them: ok were are (25 seconds later). me: (trying to supress laughter)you know that atv. them: you've crashed it already? me: well not crashed just rolled, on a trash pile. them: already how far did you move it. me: less than 5 seconds. about 2-3 metres from where i found it. them: (laughter) another one. driving a uaz (shorty 4wd) with 3 others. checked map to see where to turn next. road had a bend (near rogovo) and i went straight into a tree killed two, remaining got away with <500 blood. i had to risk cherno to get extra blood bags for my penance. I'm not allowed to drive vehicles anymore.

Want a way for more realism....stop the sniper camping spots from being the major loot grabs.Let survivors roam the whole map searching for fallen helis,downed soldiers and vehicles etc as they drop best loot and are rare.This way you make the bandits have to actually hunt instead of sit in one place and watch the desperate/without a clue chickens run around the hangers searching for that special weapon knowing full well they are the targets in a shooting range.Remove these huge hot spots and now bandits will be all over map searching themselves.

Hear yee, hear yee the new version of DayZ Android app is here. It's version 1.20. It is downloadable from the Google play store by following this link or if you have trouble installing from Google play here's a zipped .apk file for you. Note that it takes some time for Google to update the apk file on Google play so by downloading it right now you might still get the old version (it's going to update in a matter of hours though and you will receive an update note). The difference between the last version is that you no longer need to check DayZ vehicles from the wikisite. They are now 100% incorporated into the app. I even put up all mentioned locations of vehicles right under their stats tables so you can check where to find them. Here's some pictures: I hope someone finds use for these new features. Upcoming soon are the equipment, consumables and ammunition information pages but for now it says "coming before wednesday". They should be ready by next week though.

I found part of a solution I guess, apparently you must wait for a server restart and your tents/vehicles should reappear, so I'am going to wait for the next server restart and then re-check.

Vehicles and Tents Restarted i think

The loot density is actually fairly well spread out, just because you might find an m107 in the north west barracks doesn't invalidate that DMR you got in stary, or the set of AKMs for your whole team. Balota, stary sobor, multiple churches and supermarkets spread across the maps. The three castles, the deer stands I cannot be bothered to count. Weapons in this game are also generally not the main issue in a game like this, yes they are nice and offer side grades and slight advantages, but a CZ still kills you just as dead and an AK will do 95% of jobs you need it to. Tools are the main issue: NVGs, Ghillie suits, range finders, barbed wire and vehicles etc that really enable you to outperform other people on uneven terms, and these are mostly not uniquely available at the NW barracks.

'How interesting to start talking about tents and vehicles...when I try to put more things in my backpack then the backpack can handle, they dont magicly disappear' 'Then the backpack can handle?' Then? Are you time-traveling? And actually they do technically disappear, because after your dumb ass tears the backpack, you have no way of carrying all the items you previously had in the pack; so you leave them behind, and another person will more than likely pick your stuff up. Like I said, I'd like to see a backpack rip and become useless if you stuff too much into it. I mean seriously, you have a counter for that, right? How can you fuck something up, KNOWING how many slots something has? Which is irritating me to ask the question again, do you need your hand held THAT much? And what if they do add a counter to vehicles, and it just so happens to do what the backpack does (delete things if the inventory is filled?) Are you gonna' bitch about that too? Just like the backpack, what realistically happens when you overload a vehicle....it breaks down due to weight, and you need to repair it again. You have to leave all your things on the ground or in the car, someone steals it, and it "magically" disappears. Let's keep these smart-ass remarks going Robo, I really enjoy the rebuttals I come up with.

This is the =7Cav= guy that shot up the tree you were behind.. You absolutely did log out and move friend. I was watching you from 300m through my L85 when you ran from the east towards the west into the red factory building. You and the zombies chasing you disappeared. I moved in to try to secure Goat's body, and in the process completely cleared the factory compound, camped the catwalks of the red building (I never said I was a pro, which is why I missed him), and then took up over watch on the northeast hill because I knew you were coming back for those vehicles. During the time I was waiting, I ran 350m back to goats body to keep his gear from despwaning, and then back to cover. 5 minutes later I see goat coming over the hill, and all of a sudden a player appear to his right. Player kills Goat, I shoot the tree next to him because face it, I'm a beaver and beavers love wood. During my firing, I take 2 shots and die. Nowhere during the 5 minutes you were gone was a gunshot fired at me as I ran full sprint trying to draw fire. Sir, do not insult the community, MrEpicGoat or myself by attempting to cover up your scandalous ways and cry admin abuse. As far as I know, you are banned from the server for using illegal tactics and weapons. Issue has been resolved, can this thread be locked please?

Needs to be patched out :) You should not have to run miles off the map to either stash or loot. Its an unfixed 'exploit' at this stage but will be fixed by final version..then everyone will have only the choice of using the map confines :) The big downside is people who get vehicles can easily stash stuff well out of range of people who cannot get a vehicle, and generally all of the vehicles are hoarded well out reach of 90 % of the players. What are all of the hoarders going to do when you can not get off the map..have to play within the confines like eveyone else ? Mother of god.

10% perimeter sweeps before running into a town (sniper nests, etc) 10% hospital runs 10% ammo/weapon runs 10% mucking around with vehicles (don't really actively look for them) 20% running from A to B (while scanning for activity) 10% stalking a mark after seeing him, figuring out what he's doing and where he's going. 20% realize mark isn't alone and prepare for group vs group 5% waiting for mark where I think he will exit for the kill 5% actual gunfights, maneuvering under fire, etc. Could be way off on the %'s, but this is basically what I spend my gametime doing.

I think on the same day, we find a helicopter and gank it on our server and go stick in a safe spot until the admins can respond to our thread about if they are back in (http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=24165 ). Not a hour or so later, your whole crew magically shows up and steals the copter which turns out to be hacked since it never respawned after the server crash (assumption based on the fact u thought we stole it back). Then the next day me and my crew log onto a server we see you on (will have to wait for friend to confirm name, but wasn't US138) and we see a heli, shoot it so it has to make emergency landing, we watch them spawn a new heli and take off leaving the old one behind. So we have you and your group magically in or around 3 hacked helis in the span of a day or two. None of my crew had seen one since they were removed before a few days ago that I know of. I will have to confer with the admins and take a vote, but at this point, my vote is that you need to find a new place to play because everywhere you go there seem to be hacks and I am a believer of where there is smoke there is fire. actually, We Have video and audio of the events that happened as we found this stuff. I spawned on the island (glitch because I logged off on krutoy cap), I was on the after server hopping because the servers we were playing on was getting night and US138 was down because of the hacked Chinook. (We have video of finding it) I also have an audio fragment of the guy teaching me how to fly your helicopter (has to be yours because it was right next to your tents). I picked them up, let the guy who taught me how to fly get in the pilot seat. He took us back to your tents where we ran around looting the tents. We took off 5 minutes later. That's when we were about to land off map a little. Right as we are descending, a black man appears in the chopper with us. Not any of us because we are all white. We land he gets out and we Killed him. The server then crashes. A majority of your clan is now on at this point defending your base. Our guy who spawned in first (who had your boat) said he heard the helicopter leaving the area but could not see because he had no NVGs. We took his boat and headed towards your base to seek vengeance on that admin abuse your guy pulled. If that helicopter wasn't yours... then why were you guys there defending your base with sniper as soon as the server reset after killing the guy who spawned on the huey with us? I'm a believer of whoever did the rhyme, did the crime. Truth is, we have the footage. The sequence of events are slightly off here as I would like to shed some enlightenment on what actually happened. I was.. as you put it the "black guy" in the chopper that was not a member of your team". "We took off 5 minutes later. That's when we were about to land off map a little. Right as we are descending, a black man appears in the chopper with us." I actually logged onto the island after taking an hour or so break after a cramp raid while the rest of my team was out in the NW hiding our other vehicles. To my surprise upon logging in I find that I hear the chopper in the air somewhere near the island. It turns out that your team had stolen it and was coming in for a landing at that time. As the chopper landed I managed to sneak onto it without you guys noticing. If you have footage of the event from that point you will see that I was the guy that was on the left hand side of the chopper after your entire team got in (I was the last to get in as a door gunner). If this is not the visible sequence of events then there is some holy god of a lag spike that prevented me from showing up with you guys until the point of your clams. Thinking that I would possibly be more successful recovering it once you guys had landed somewhere else and the chopper had been powered down and the pilot had gotten out (thus preventing a shootout and me getting killed and accomplishing nothing). After enjoying the flight your team landed the chopper and all of you exited except for the pilot. You still hadn't noticed me at this point contrary to your statement because you actually all left the chopper ran to a treeline to the north and left your pilot behind. If you had noticed me upon the landing sequence you for some reason decided that the random guy was okay to just chill there for a while. At this point I was waiting for the pilot to leave. Changing positions in the chopper and just chilling for a couple of minutes. Unfortunately for myself he never got out. I decided to get out of the chopper and kill him. But for some reason after unloading a whole bunch of bullets into the pilots side window your pilot took no damage. (I believe there may be some aramaII anti-friendly fire mechanism that makes it difficult to kill people when you are shooting at a vehicle right beside it and are on the same team (in DayZ everybody logs in on the Blue-for team and this may be an unintended mechanic due to that). Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong. Perhaps he just got lucky. Your team then ran out of the treeline to the chopper (that I had gotten back into as a door gunner on the right hand side this time). Two of you came back looked at me and one ran off. That's when one with what looked like the FN-FAL with NV scope shot me in the head. If you guys are going to post accusations of cheating you should ensure your story is correct and full and not missing significant chunks from the timeline. Also your accusations must be in the realm of possibility. "We took his boat and headed towards your base to seek vengeance on that admin abuse your guy pulled." 1. I am not a server admin. 2. A sever admin can neither spawn or place himself or anyone else anywhere on the map or inside of any vehicle. 3. All other questions about where the chopper came from had been answered by previous posts and there was a link provided showing actions being taken to figure out the source of the chopper and what we were doing to determine its legitimacy. 4. As stated before the server crash caused us to loose 4 vehicles that were being driven out in the northwest and tele-ported two of our guys to krutoy for some stupid reason who you got in a firefight with thus causing us to loose more gear since you were able to kill them off as well.

blabla u know that its really more easy to find vehicles rided before with thoose hacks ? so it all depends where they are placed? lol ? u seem to know nothing about the hacks goind around....... @Aoridian i would advice you to find maybe a better server if there is no direct person hosting it or care for updating scripts for battle eye then u really can have much problems with thoose hackers. my clan will also went on another server wich is hosted and maintained most time until we have our own server. greetz kabs

vehicles can still be easy to find. An example. Spawned on my server today in Debug flat land. which is 3000km roughly west of the edge of the map. I ran back to the edge of the map on the west side and whats this a tractor hidden in the tree's. So it all depends where they are place and who's looking for them and the edge of the map is not a good place to hide them.

"Hiding vehicles and tents "off the map" means if you keep going north you will eventually be off the game map but there is still forest and terrain where you can go where most people don't go" hopefully they patch that

Sounds okay to me. You're already limited to one server anyways if you want to make use of tents or vehicles.

We can't spawn vehicles or gear. http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=26110 It's possible he locked it to go grind stuff without players around, but that's a quick route to a server blacklisting. Might be best to play some place else.

We have huge problems right now.. If you are driving with more than one person in the car, you get constant out of sync.. And you can't get into the servers, if you try to restart the server, the server wont fucking read data from hive.. Seems like the hive can't send all the data our server needs, and that is stucking players, loot and vehicles alot..

I'm not sure but I think I've read somewhere else that you have to use the vehicles and tents inventory slots. If you did my mistake.

Did any mod or rocket check the logs on the server to pinpoint the scripts that were used or should we just all stop playing the game entireley? We want to know because were not gonna waste our time playing legitmatley while other people can just take a month of work away from you in mere seconds with hacks and scripts... It was mentioned before but I will mention it again This happend on US23 and it happend right as I posted about us recovering our stolen vehicles only to have them stolen again. Time in game was 2 EST the post is on another timezone.

I went up north for every life after I learned the main do's and don't's. But from all the posts about bandits ravaging the south, it seems like a good chunk of the players with good gear are in the woods just outside cities in the south. I'll sacrifice the best loot spawns and vehicles for some anti-bandit ops in the south.

Uhm, i have a 3 man squad on (TX20 USA server) , i'm from denmark tho... We got 5 vehicles, and alot of medical supplies, and we're recruiting snipers. Since 2 out of three is assult, so yeah... Pm me if you'd like :) //Sapatha.

no mate... you don't realise how out of the way these vehicles were.. I can understand finding them after like a few days or so... but each time the well hidden vehicles were found miles from civilisation after a couple of hours each time. IMPOSSIBRU

Around 22;00 GMT I will be logging in for an all night session [probably til about 6am!!] I wish to find others to travel with. I am extremely experienced, and really just want a few friends to travel with. Perhaps we can make this a regular thing. I'm completely up for travelling to find supplies, vehicles, and so on and so forth. I am tired of travelling alone, even if it is extremely fun... Travelling to NW airfield and being attacked by 3-5 people, killing 2 or 3 and then bleeding to death is very entertaining, but i'd love assistance in my travels... AND A FRIEND OR TWO! Let me know if you have time to spend with me! - People with most of their night dedicated would be preferred!! Gear is irrelevant, as we can get geared up very quickly [new spawners] - but I would prefer people to have decent experience [Know how to aim your gun!] All in all, I want to have FUN - With other players. Let me know! Also. Skype would be most desired. Or ventrilo, or teamspeak. - Please have one of em, so we can have maximum fun. Would prefer mature players too.

Are you doing cooperative PvP stuff? Vehicles etc? I'm really looking for some good groups for cooperative PvP and vehicle combat...
