Get some grenades and blow up their precious vehicles. If you can flatten their tents while your at it you get a tin of beans.

Been on this server for two days and totally ruined my experience in the last two days. Multiple admins on the server abusing voice chat, talking over long distances. We were north and saw a large amount of players on vehicles moving north. At first we thought it was the ADMIN camp and as we moved more North me and my friend items were exchanged for other items like a M4A1 silenced, NVGs, ghilie suits and were attacked right we noticed and turned around. The attacker was invisible as far as I know and was using direct com and telling me friend who was far away from me providing overwatch that "we have the same gun" he shot me up, filled my blood back up and shot me again and again couldn't see him. I just respawned at QUARRY (About as remote of a spawn as you can get) and got shot up again within 5 minutes. I had broken bones and called him out over direct comm and the sounds of the shots were right beside me. Definite hacker, don't know about admin involvement though.

Heh....Guys, I was watching InTheLittleWoods stream before I bought the game. They legitly found a tank and fixed it up. it does exist, except its quite possibly one of the rarest vehicles in the game. It is not a hack, at least, it probably isn't, but do realize that it is possible to acquire.

Sorry to start english is not all good So over alot of server now me and my friends have found vehicles and 1 of two things have happened.. 1. on 3 diffrent servers withing 5 mins of us garbing a vehicle the server magically restarts and the vehilce disappears even if we save it. On two of the occasions we went to the spot we found if hidden at and it was there again with people guarding or with people driving off in it. 2. the second issue we found 2 times now on servers we steal a vehicle and park it in a seculded area place tones wire fences/ hedgehogs around it to block it in and we log out. The next day we log in and the vehilce is gone but all the fortifications we placed are still in the exact same spot we placed them. during both events we have saved the vehicle multiple times the first is pretty obvious that we stole admin vehicle and the crash server to roll back as we took one groups vehicle i na gunfight from then 3 times in a a row same people and same vehicle then server crashes when they are all dead and we are drving off in our new car

Really great job! i just had 2 more friends get the game and start playing this week. I currently host a server (us1094) and We all are having a great time playing. One suggestion i would like to make especially with the respawn button being disabled soon is maybe the introduction of more low end vehicles, such as bicycles, that respawn maybe daily. Maybe this does not go along with the hardcore gaming experience that is your vision it is just after playing on many different servers and an untold amount of hours i have noticed a lack of any vehicles in the game being used. To me it seems like the vehicles are all hoarded and hidden away and brought out only when deemed safe. (like when server population is below 10) After hundreds of hours of playing i have seen the large bus once, 2 motorcycles and a truck that was stuck in the terrain. oh and 2 bicycles. Hell i would be excited at this point if i came across a rideable tricycle, lol! 7 days of non use for vehicle respawn is a tad much i believe.

US1169 ADMIN ABUSE RESETTING SERVER

And it did say session lost after 30 seconds into the count down. This isn't the first time this has happened to me and friends. I know what happened and why he reset it.... he didn't want us to report him for having hacked weapons. I have noticed it more and more admins taking advantage of the power hacking in the game weapons and vehicles. Just the other day I say a admin spawn a Apache and the funny thing is, is that when he saw me on that field I got kicked now some screen keeps popping up on that server and it won't let me in (idk if that means I am banned or not from that server) The main point is the admins need to have someone above them too because they are abusing their power when they can. -
I am the person that has been taking your vehicles and supplies the past few days. While attempting to steal more of your stuff tonight, someone from your camp returned on an ATV. I quickly took a M249 from the tent I was looting and opened fire upon the ATV. They somehow managed to escape with the ATV. I figured that this person was going to return to the camp, so I waited in the trees for a good 5-10 minutes before spotting someone by the tent I looted. A few shots later, Josh was dead. I proceeded to carefully make my way to the body, but, knowing that this camp was the creation of more than just one person, I used extreme caution. Sure enough, I saw someone in the opposite tree-line making his way over to the camp. Once again, I opened fire on this person. I hadn't gotten the kill, and he had ducked behind the trees. He sprayed randomly through the trees, so he obviously did not know where I was. I crawled a bit closer and I noticed him crawling on the floor not 50m away. I didn't have a clear shot, so I sprayed that area until I saw "______ was killed." I took a few more supplies and figured I better get out of there before more people show up. Also thank you for not ALT-F4'ing during this fight.

Locking server exploiting is mainly for loot farming, using vehicles to get around unopposed and to a small degree ghosting. None of this can be done when you stop your server. Vilayer seems to be very fair, so I would just explain the situation if anything comes of it. However I doubt they will have problems with you turning your server off for a time while you get your bearings -

What else is there to do besides kill people? Walk through the trees up north, shooting wildlife and filling water bottles at ponds for days until you get randomly shot or die to a random bug? People who hate PvP... do you really have that much fun playing Walking Simulator 2012? Because that's ALL YOU FREAKING DO if there's no PvP. I might be able to get a little more into the pure survival aspect of the game if the odds weren't so high that my game will be ruined by a bug. Rampant bug-related deaths, being teleported to the debug desert, and completely unreliable tents and vehicles make it very unattractive to get emotionally invested in the long-term survival game. Might as well just stay in town and shoot people. -

Yeah, that is basically what happens. They horde all the vehicles on the sides of the map.

After reading your complaints in the "Respawn button" thread, I've concluded that you're like a bad idea machine. Everything you propose flies in the face of what this mod's developer has stated are his goals. While we're at it, there should 5 times as many vehicles available and there needs to be a working mass transportation system to instantly teleport us between cities in the game because the map is too big and we shouldn't have to waste our precious gaming time playing the parts of the game that don't involve shooting other players. FFS.

Yeah we find vehicles by chance. Are we supposed to just leave them there or give them up? Really man, lower your expectations. Edit: So you're talking shit about 5 guys moving the vehicles to another spot on them map? Instead of complaining, why don't you search for shit like that. Edit 2: Oh yeah, and three of our vehicles are taken from someone else who was hoarding it, so don't think about coming back with some "equality for players" bullshit. -

Accidental Ban on US153 - "HookedOnPwnics"

Just wanted to post this in case this guy is wondering WTF happened. Today on US153, there was a cheater on the server spawning vehicles. When I went to ban who I thought was the hacker, my RCON tool messed up and it banned the wrong person (twice!). The player's name was "HookedOnPwnics". Sorry dude! :blush: I removed the ban as soon as I realized what happened. -

1) Always be cautious of things that start with "apparantly" 2) Server Admins have no ingame powers whatsoever 3) You probably stumbled into a trap. Vehicles are seldom unattended 4) I've played on LU16 a lot and I can vouch for the owners 5) Be more cautious next time -
I was only in Zelenogorsk once, I had just visited green mountain tower looking for vehicles. Traveled into Zeleno since I hadn't found anything at Gmount. Got bit by a zombie just south of the city, found a bandage nearby and right after I bandaged, I got hit by another Zed. Then I bled out in the street.

Ok so 4 of my friends and I have been setting up camp (not disclosing the location) and we've accumulated many things including (but not limited to) a Ural, Bus, GAZ, UAZ, and a few more vehicles. So I was playing today in my normal server where I set up my camp, and lately there's been a few hacker breakouts. So I went afk for a few hours, and when I come back in, I find this "ammo medium" box and I decided to read up on it, as we are very far from civilization and it is impossible for anything to spawn near us. As I read about it, almost every post I see says it is hacked in, so I was wondering, is there a way to contact the Hive people (whoever the hell they are, unless it's the DayZ devs) or DayZ team to avoid us getting banned and losing our camp? Edit: I'm just freaking because my team and I interacted with the box, and I've read posts about people getting banned because they interacted with some hacked items. Edit 2: I'd also like to see if I can get the hacker banned, as he is the only one to come across our camp and I really don't want to move my 5+ tents and vehicles -

you got raided, server restarts can cause vehicles to despawn or reset to a previous location if you didn't click save but on a server restart any flattened tents pop back up -
I posted about something a little like this yesterday and somebody helped a little by getting rid of some other error messages but it still says this when I try to get into a server "You can not play/edit this mission because it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.chernarus, dayz_ code, dayz_ weapons, dayz_ equip, dayz_ vehicles ". Anyone know what I need to do? (If you post I might not respond for a bit.) Edit: if this helps I'm using steam but I've also tried to launch it through the six launcher.

No I didn't say hackers could not spawn choppers did I now? I said Admins, Admins do not have the power to just spawn equipment / vehicles into the game. I never once said a hacker could not, I said Admins could not. -
It required a re-installation of our server, took about an hour, but it fixed the issue. You do not lose gear, tents, or vehicles with the reinstall.

To the owners of the camp on US 470 Atlanta, just north of Devils Castle. My bad. I did not mean to flatten all the tents and destroy all the vehicles. I just couldnt help myself.

When servers aren't restarted properly it is commonplace for tents and vehicles to disappear. A proper restart will fix this problem. But I can tell you that it doesn't just effect some, its an all or nothing thing. Either all tents and all vehicles are gone or none of them are. Looks like you got raided...
