You somehow have to get rid of vehicles and helis.

well now im still looking for an svd, after the last guy i tried to trade with shot me in the back. so my supplies are a little bit lessened but i still have some pretty good stuff to trade. post what your willing to trade it for and il see if i have it. i do not have vehicles though.

Can't speak for vehicles (they seem to spawn with items now) but looking over the loot drops in the code source itself the only 2 LEGIT skins that drop in any LOOT pile is either camo or ghillie suit. Any other skin found at a loot pile/crash site is not legit. Like I said can't speak for vehicles with gear spawned in them, but as far as loot piles you find on the ground anywhere those are the only 2 legit skins.

I think it would be contradictory to allow players a "permanent" base and then make vehicles reset every 48 hours. In all fairness, what you say is quite true. Hacks and duping are making it so there's many more geared people than there should be. Normally, the majority of players should be running around with pistols and low-end rifles, instead, we got snipers and thermal-vision along with night-vision and grenade launchers laying siege to high-populated towns. You got to remember, though, that it has been previously stated (several times) that DayZ is an anti-game, so you can't really expect it to provide an "end-game" experience. DayZ is what you make it. I encourage you to aim for more social goals such as community building and interaction. After all, this is a zombie apocalypse game, not Fallout, if zombies out there to kill us all can't make most of the people bunch up together to survive, I don't know what will. EDIT Yes to less fuel. Idea for standalone: Limit the capacity of the fuel tanks we use to fill the jerry cans with and give them a timer before they refill (say a week or more). Create new building: Refinery. Toy around with the idea of it working as an asset (similar to how other resource buildings such as farms or ammunition stores could be).

It still doesn't explain why they would spawn it in loot piles and the gear slots on vehicles.

Must be missing something, food gives me a bit of blood it seems, but not enough to get up to full again, not sure what items to use or what process I'm supposed to be doing. Any help is appreciated . Is there a way to stash items somewhere outside of my inventory? I have an Alice Pack and recently raided one of the big towns, got a lot of survival stuff like blood packs and food, water bottles etc, but my packs are completely full. I've heard people making Camps before, but how does that work with the servers, leaving and joining etc, and I don't know how often servers restart, any of those mechanics... Do I pretty much keep what I have on me and that's it, and is the Alice pack the biggest? Also with vehicles, If I'm in a vehicle and leave the game, do I keep the vehicle when I join another server?

"Why my presence"? To say what I had to say? That I haven't seen any of the "rampant hacking" you speak about, and a lot of the vehicles are still at their default spawn spot so there's no "vehicle hoarding" either. And that keeping the server down for days because you got killed is retarded, and it's stupid to shut down the server without warning when the owner feels like it. Soldier Camo and RGO grenades can sometimes spawn in certain vehicles (I'm looking at you, UAZ) Even if Xeno had been misinformed (he wasn't), attacking him for being misinformed is the mark of a child looking to flex some sort of misshapen nether-penis. I want this clan/group to be a very hardcore clan but can also have a good laugh. I want to chase vehicles, raid places, kill bandits, and set up camp. All must have a mic. Had my first full night time game last night. 3 of us getting around on 4 wheelers. Vehicles can be heaps of fun.

I'm not with those guys, wtf.. And it's not the first server I play on, and I'm familiar with hackers, I still didn't run into any hackers, and vehicles aren't "hoarded" yet either.

1/2. Do not trust anyone in this game. Ive learnt the way to enjoy this game the most is by finding some friends who are organized. You need to find this over time. Try to get involved with people in voice chat (teamspeak,Ventrillo, Mumble). People won't trust you initially. They need to come to trust you to make sure your not a douche who is going to ruin it for them. 3. You need to learn to hunt. Each cooked meat gives you back 800 blood, canned meat give 200. Blood packs will pretty much recover your full health. I almost never go in Cherno. If I do, Im packing, going in at night with NVGs, vehicles and a team. If I spawn in Cherno or Electro I will hit the place quickly and then leave. They are killing zones and you don't want to waste your time so you can hand your loot over to other players. 4. You gotta learn not to aggro zombies. They are easily avoidable. 5. Study this map: http://dayzdb.com/map If there is something specific you are after, hit the buildings that spawn them. You should have a hatchet almost straight away. Hunting knife and matches can take a while but you will get them eventually, you just have to survive on soda/waterbottles/canned food until you do. Morphine will prevent you from a really annoying death, but its not essential early in a life. Painkillers are meh. You gotta learn to head North. Don't hang around killing zones. Scout a town, loot it, then get out. Once you have some friends with tents and vehicles youll get on your feet. Its alot harder to survive on your own in this game.

I only have the fraps from after the reseting started, and not from the situation minutes earlier. I only started filming after you started resetting because I was about to report you for abusing your admin powers. I have no idea who this Erkanprime is. Then I am guessing you are James. Either way you are "winning" this situation because now you can go an pick up the vehicles we worked hard to find and defend, because of your abusive way of administrating this server. I will probably report you for this, I will spread the word of your administrating style with my friends irl and on forums (I do not want my friends to experience this kind of abuse) and I will surely never play on this server again.

With no way to reset the servers and these guys running off with all the vehicles and then camping new players I'd love to see this handled swiftly. How can u proove this? Running away with all the vechiles and camping for new players? We have played the whole day and this is what we have got. We got the GAZ car from stary sobor after using about 5 hours getting the gear. We then drived it into the woods and it was gone after 5 sec, we tought someone followed us. We found on bicycle and I went on it trying to find something else, i had one kill after I found another guy on a bicycle and left the other bycicle behind, I later lost that bicicle after I tried to hide from u "Daniel" and ur friend on the white truck, my buddies andreas, brenden and zqyla was then looking for camps at west of the map. I ran against them when they met u. They found the buss first, then u and ur friend came randomly into the woods, u shot sqyla and andreas or brenden shot u guys. U then restarted the server for not letting us get your car, I dont know if the buss was urs aswell.. Anyways we where on our way to report u and started frapsing the restarts. We were sure that u guys only wanted the cars so u tried to make us leave the server.. By kicking me 2-3 times and shutting it down.. so lets put this togheter. I killed 2 guys, one guy at the firestation in elektro early today and that guy on the bicycle. Sqyla killed one random guy with a hatchet he found in the market at zelengorsk. And they killed u 2. U guys used ur admin rights wrong and tried to have the cars for urself. If u guys really thought we where hackers then I understand u, but i cant believe how u could think that-?

Now don't get me wrong, this is in no way the devlopers fault. But it has reached a point where playing has become more of a chore and more agitating than frankly banging my hand with a hammer. Now im aware many of you will tell me im QQing but at this point im a bit past it. We have played since febuary and really enjoy this game. So over the last week we have had (we are a clan) a series of tping slays, where we are all tped and slayed. Then our camps are spawned into, (a haxer spawns to vehicles) and doesn't bother taking them they just blow them up. (how do I know) well on more than 3 occasions this has happened. Some 1 just tpes next to us, we shoot them, 3 seconds later they are back with all the same gear the same name and eventually if we don't abort we are dead. So 2 days ago, I spent with a friend about 9 hours maybe more, solid finding and fixing a heli, (1st heli) we found and fixed 1. Set off picked up our other 3 friends, then headed to our base to pick up the 4th (total of 6). We land at our base which was miles above any where, a minute after we have landed, we get shot at. Now we are a descent clan we are very well geared, all 6 have guilli's and a mix of as50's thermal la85's and silenced m4's. All legit. So we split up and start looking for the guy shooting at us, Long story short he shot 4, 2 died and every 1 that got shot said they saw the bullet exit a weapon in front of them but couldn't see any 1, I had taken position 300 meteres away from our heli with my thermal gun, I could see every 1 on my team but no enemy. After hes shot the guys and the rest have given in and aborted the haxer gets in our van, drives around, stops then gets in our heli. At this point I have had the oppurtunity to look through the windows in the van and the heli and no 1 is there, He sets off and theres sweet fuck all I can do about it. I shot the shit out of the pilots window and nothing... So tonight me and my other clan friends spent about 5 hours fixing another heli, we finnaly get it working, set off, Pick up the other clan m8s and as we are going along the coast, Out of the blue I see another chopper which I couldn't believe. At no point did I assume this was a haxer, it's recorded we allsaid what are the chances. Any how he starts shooting at us, After some epic flying that klost him several times and a shotout, the haxers heli loses and gets shot down, His 2 of there guys die. Now at this point I figured some how he had managed to see where I had flown us, despite some rather epic flying skills. Turns out he was tping to us every time he lost us. 1 minute after we have shot the guys heli down, we land some where, Probably over a 1000 meteres away in an attempt to heal our very dead gunner, we land and low and behold a guy with an as50 spawns next to us, we all shot the shit out of him and no damage. he kills 1 or 2 of the reminaing 4 guys, I jump in and set off before he finishes us. I fly off with 2 of us left, Now at this point the guys on ts are raging like fuck as this has happened so many times and I am paying no attention, Knowing that where ever I land, he will spawn next to us and kill us, Then like a twat I hit a tree, not massivly fussed knowing I cannot land it to fix it anyhow, Me and my friend are some how still alive...so we jump out. 30 seconds later a heli spawns above us and starts lighting us up, despite the fact we are both in guilli suits in seperate tree's. So to sumerise in the last week we have come across some form of hax, at least 3 to 4 times a day on average, Which leads me to believe it must be real easy for these faggots to hax. There fore would it be real easy to fix? Truely this is the best game I have played for probably the last 5 years and all of us agree that this game deserves to be huge and rocket and staff deserve a great wage and a ferrari as a bonus, But I cannot bring my self to continue getting bummed by these little twats, after spending 5+ hours top have about 30 minutes of fun knowing we are going to get shafted. As stated in the title. They were raiding a camp, got shot at, noob streamer tried to make a getaway in a bus (there were plenty of other vehicles) then alt+f4'd. Having fun abusing him. Join me :-D http://www.twitch.tv/towelliee

To make a long story short me and 2 friends running around up north looking for camps found a UAZ and drove around looking for more stuff up there; as we were driving we saw a white off road vehicle with one of the admins in it called Sheriff.m3th so I got out and took the front tire out and he insta gets out and combat logs (lol, nice life) so we take the vehicle and about 5 minutes further east we find their actual camp with a URAL, ATV and a Motorcycle. Obviously now we have 3 of us and 5 vehicles we loot everything we want out the URAL/tents and flatten them and then decide to blow up the URAL and White offroad with a satchel charge from the URAL. As we are moving all the vehicles to a safe place for detonation all 3 of us get kicked from the server our names were 'MIKE TYSON' , 'BROCK LESNAR' and 'judelaw'. After we change profile/names go back in and destroy the URAL/offroad witht a satchel charge. Log onto their teamspeak to ask why they were kicking us from the server and the 'Sheriff.m3th' guy said we were cheating when I asked him why he thought that he said we had to have been cheating to find their camp. Another player on the teamspeak called 'Unorthodox' said he can do what he wants with his server and if it gets blacklisted he will just buy a new one as he is 'incredibly rich'. If you just look through the sheer amount of topics regarding admin abuse on UK117 it amazes me they have not had their server blacklisted yet. Also lol @ this 'Sheriff.m3th' guy telling us his version of events 'My tire went out, I didnt see who did it so I just logged out, I wanted to save my SVD Camo I just got, You would have done the same'. Nah bro, we have never combat logged - a guy dropping from a hacked chopper took all 3 of us out with godmode on EU #404 yesterday after I put 40 FAL rounds into his back. Did we log out? Nah we just restarted on your server and took all your stuff instead. Got the same gear back in a few hours, no big deal, shame you had to lose all your vehicles/tents though. Some private hive servers have extra vehicles enabled. Don't agree with this but although they are technically illegitimate in the game, it might not have been hacked in.

The respawn rate, and respawn locations are completely unknown for vehicles. You can check locations where vehicles will often spawn, often, but there's no guarantee it'll come back there at any given time.

I had a pretty weird trip in yesterday. I ran into a building on the coast hiding from some zeds chasing me and found 4 heavily armed dudes inside standing on the railing around the top story or the building. All four of them were kitted out. They all had all the survival gear, knives, compass, maps, night vision goggles, the works. All four had that nice high end sniper riffle with the scope and silenced hand-guns. I tried talking to them but all four just stood there, not moving saying nothing. After a few minutes I put two and two together and figured they were hackers so I tried to kill them since they were lagging the server being there AFK like that. I shot each one of them in the head 3 times with their own guns and none of them could die. All four were in God mode.This was on a server with over 20 people. I also heard a vehicle drive right past me as I was running down the road but couldn't see anything, which was kinda scary. I'd like to hope there's not a group like that on every server, but I don't know there isn't for sure. As for other vehicles, I found a jeep parked at a castle one time. No one was around so I hopped into it and went for a drive which was fun.

Even if you ignore the ArmA 2 base campaign, just imagine for a moment.. Chernarus is a destabilized, eastern european post-soviet country that was hit by a sudden outbreak of Zombiecalypse with literally thousands of dead soldiers, crashed military force recon/assault helicopters from the UN(hence the european weaponry) military vehicles(destroyed HMMWV's everywhere), outposts(Military emergency base near fucking balota), bases and airfields all over the place because obviously the world tried to fight the outbreak with anything they had." so yeah, finding military weapons would be absolutely unrealistic! geez..I really cant see where the problem is; just look at *every* movie with a dangerous global virus outbreak/alien attack/supernatural danger. What is the first thing getting shipped there? Legions of soldiers armed to the tits to "suppress" the threat. Looking beyond established fiction, in a world.. - where people fire mortars over walls at their neighbours because they have different beliefs - where children are armed and trained to kill for their stupid leaders deranged ideals -where nuclear weapons of mass destructions are built to threaten someone else to not annihilate oneself with nuclear weapons of mass destruction do you really think there would NOT be a massive pooling of weaponry in places hit by a Zombie Outbreak threatening all of mankind? ps: rethorical question

So you could theoretically find a private server that you could have your Tent setup on, or a Vehicle simply for it's backpack slots? Log in there to store things, and then go to other servers to play/loot? Also you say Tents are glitchy, how are Vehicles? I saw that certain vehicles have storage space in them, so if they're less glitchy, could they be used to store things more securely? If that works I'd love to find a private server to join and just use a vehicle as a storage facility, a lot less of a chance of having it broken into on a smaller private server right? Any help or opinions on this type of thing is really appreciated.
