While I haven't been too riled up by the absence, I can understand why others would be. Especially how with the last two updates the mod has had some almost game-breaking problems (like the graphical glitches as well as problems with tents/vehicles). It was a good set of opportunities and a good thing that they were taken. Problem is, it seemed to a lot of people like the mod got broken then silence for no clear benefit, other than getting more players into a broken mod. Whatever. I just hope that 1.7.3 can rectify some of the issues that have popped up recently. And I really hope that it is to a satisfactory level of quality for you to release it by the 6th, as stated in the other thread. If not, oh well. We can wait.

It's called a vehicle magnet script. Pulls all the vehicles to the hacker's location, including boats.

It was a hacker lol, dogs aren't supposed to be introduced, along with a fix for vehicles/tents disappearing, until at least the 6th

If I could, I would rename this thead "Dor1co... another nice player" :D Really, you think all the problems you encounter are my (one of the FR 39 admins) fault? We all are conspiring against you? Come on! Blan the fucking cheaters instead. And if you have time, I could use some help getting rid of them on our server. I personnaly spend more than 1 our per day using the logs and taking action. Indeed it's not enough. But be careful where you direct your anger to (hackers, not admins!). I don't count anymore the ones with AS50 TWS, PDW SD, G36 (mainly SD), M4+HWS+SD+M203+Camo, and even MakarovSD :o + the teleport fuckers : today we had one following (on foot :huh: ) our heli (+100 km/h) and firing. Another one teleported 5 vehicles way up north inland ... including a boat :rolleyes: Today we also had chain killings. Using the logs, I saw that all of us except just 1 guy got killed in about a minute. I banned this one ... and everything went better afterwards. So, thanks for your nice ad for our server :rolleyes: Stop whining. If you have a problem come and talk to us (TS, forum...) ;) Or quit and go playing another game :P Gazzz

This is so annoying. Seriously gotta be fixed in next patch along with the graphical glitches AND the non-saving tents and vehicles or I'm done with the game. I wonder if Rocket realizes that if he loses his player base in DayZ, that he is disilusioning his potential player base for the stand alone game. If this game isn't fixed, I probably won't buy the stand alone. On one server I'm in Kabanino. I log out, and when I log in to another server all of my gear is gone... including the backpack.

Hello, Gavalin here! I am generally a resident nice guy, pasted up a few chances to kill folks. Interestly enough my deaths in DayZ have been all due to hackers. (3) One glitch (An entire day of teleporting zombies Mike Tyson'ing my ass) Since this has all been cleared up I've managed an average life span of pretty damn high (My first about 20 hours) I've gotten a few of my friends into the game. We recently thought it fun to do the whole "build a base thing" US 1502 apparently someone didn't like it and leveled the whole factory, taking out the vehicles and such. Oh well live and let die I suppose. Personally I'm not a KoS person but if you have a military weapon and don't respond to me, you are. I've got one murder, one unarmed kill (Swore the guy was armed whoops CtlN1) a bandit kill (Was chasing a guy I just winged, left him life then she ran in after him with her AKM, one to the chest one to the dome piece) Normal night for me generally involves finding a 10-25 pop server avoiding full servers as they attract the boogey men! Then bringing 1-2 folks with me and doing what ever. Hope to see some folks and continue to save the ones that need it (I even helped folks in the NWAF by sniping Zombies off them!)

The thing is, we are working on them as well as building the game. We think we have a solution for tents/vehicles, artifacting we are still working on.

Im making this post hoping that one of the devs will pick it up or someone will spread the word cause as many of the ppl that play dayz know the increasing number of hackers have grown so much the last couple of weeks that it has reached a point were i can almost not join a server without either finding a ammo crate with all the best gear in or getting killed in some mysterious way. Although this is very anoying that is not what i want to rais awareness of cause most of the hackers don't understand what happends when they hacke. Cause when they say get killed and decides to hack they will most likely spawn in the best gear and if one persone did this it would not be a problem but when thousends of ppl do this the looting becomes useless and i find it better to patrol the cost for militarly gear than actually going to the military loot spot just because it is easier to kill a noob that spawned in gear than actually go to NWAF to MAYBE find something good. This for me turns the game into a more of a COD shooter were you are almost given the gear in the face and asked to shoot the guy next too you. The second thing i wanne talk about is vehicles cause when after they fixed ppl not be able to spawn in vehicles anymore hackers need to find other ways to get their vehicles then they turn to ESP and Teleporting and that would be ok if the hackers was going for the old bikes but hey we all know they just popp up their map and find the ONE chopper that most of the time only respawns after 7 DAYS and when they are done with it they either crash it or just leave it in the middle of nowhere so it is almost impossible to find. Thus making it (almost)impossible for a legit player to actually find a chopper nowdays. You might think hey this is just talk well no it is not: After around 7 days of searching for a chopper and then i mean going on all the spawn points each day + searching for camps i found nothing.....so i decided to HACK to see if there was actually any choppers there at all so i searched for hacks on google and found a site for hacks it was totally free only had to registrate and click in on the forums only seconds after i got in on the forums the script executors was almost thrown in my face they came pre compiled was approved by an admin on the site and even a 6 year old could figure out how it works. Another quick search on the forums and i found and easy EPS and teleport hack. So i went to the server and turned the EPS on and to my suprise there was a chopper on the server but when i TPed over i quickly found out that it was crashed. so i decided to find another server to check there. When i entred the second server it was the same thing chopper was destroyed 20 servers later i still had no chopper and im sure there is alot more servers that still haven't gotten a chopper even worse on some servers all the vehicles were pilled up in the far north corner non were destroyed and they would not respawn for a long time if the hacker had taken his time to save all of them. After a couple of server hopps for choppers later i decided to try to spawn in some gear so i did a quick search on the forums again and found a script for full gear with baisicly the best gear you can obtain. With the single push of a button i had all the best gear in the game i was freshly spawn on the beach with 0 stats and a sudden thought struck me what am i going to do now ? i had all the best gear i could travel across the map with a click and i only found one option left kill someone the onyl objektive left is to kill ppl there is no need to search for vehicles anymore there is no reason to go to the NW airfield and there is no reason to hide in the forest and survive casue if i die in a fire fight i can just press a hotkey and get all the gear back. so at this point i logged off and deleted arma 2 from my PC cause there is no reason to play anymore. I hope this has given everyone a little wake up call about the amount of hacking currently going on. If you think DayZ is cool but now it does not deserve the prize (whatever is your reason), consider voting for Journey. It is a hell of a game (too bad there is no pc version...) :/ My reasons for not voting DayZ are 3: 1 - it is an alpha (let the real game get ready and then you can see if it is worth the vote); 2 - the recurring bugs (tends/vehicles); and 3 - weeks without communication in the forum (I think this is just disrespectful with the fans)

Server - US 453 Time - (has happened multiple times over a few days, but most recent) - between 11:40-11:50 AM Eastern Standard Time Names of the offenders - Chris Griffin, Lois Griffin, Peter Griffin What they have done - teleport around the map looking for anyone with my group's tags, kill us, and attempt to take our vehicles. most recently, at least Lois Griffin teleported to my location, and then behind me to shoot me between Elektro and Rog Castle. Today's incident initiated with Lois teleporting to me, shooting at me and creating at least 1 random explosion around me (while still firing some automatic rifle). The incident ended with me going prone behind a tree to line of sight the attacker, and then them teleporting in behind me and killing me. Not really sure what to look for in the logs to prove that they're scripting, but for now I've taken the server down to ensure that no one else is affected by them.

The bus is a fricken tank, one of my favorite vehicles ^_^

This seems cool and dandy, but what do you mean PvP squad? Like raiding with vehicles? Or raiding certain towns and trying to hunt down survivors? Because I'm all about that, I'm a Bandit, but I feel like a friendly Bandit is good to have on a team. You need someone who won't hesitate when the tense situations come, those who hesitate, die. I've survived a good 6 days of solid gameplay now, and have probably survived a lot of stuff I shouldn't have, because I always act first and play stealth, I feel like I could be an asset to your team as a Bandit. -PM me if your interested in playing, school starts soon, but I will still play when I can-

I have played alone for too long now and I am looking for an anti-bandit or non-bandit clan that has their own private server OR at least some server owned by the clan. (If the server has vehicles repaired or tents filled with gear, that is a SUPER plus). I would like the clan to have a bunch of active people. I have teamspeak, I am 18 and I play often. It would help if you can tell me if your clan has all of these things or at least most of these things. :thumbsup: I'm in the US UTC -8(Pacific time)

Got it. Yesterday after everything went down the drain i starting see this nameplates thing... I'm with you tho! PS: Glad to see the server at his fullest yesterday, it was a shame what that script douche did... oh well.. Thanks jrb! And yes, f*** them all! in the other hand all vehicles were restarted i fixed the truck in the quary and then found a white pick up truck and an ATV in the middle of the road near novy sobor... happy times.

I play in Third Person OUTSIDE of combat. It usually helps me spot loot / Tents / Vehicles better; but when I enter combat (With other players,) I go into first person. Does this give me a grievous disadvantage? Maybe...*Sniff*...Maybe....But I have yet to be in a battle where I think I lost solely because I wasn't in third person. I snipe mostly anyway in combat with other players to begin with, and usually if you cant see someone from an angle you're at, at your sniping position, 3rd person probably isn't going to help much. Bottom Line: Using Third Person to help get items, vehicles, etc = Boss Status Using it to get an arguably "unfair" advantage in combat = Bitch status

It took a bit of experimentation on our server but I'm pretty sure we've got it down to a science. We can replicate the result 95% of the time which I think makes it an exploitable bug, but I don't know wth to do about it, every time they fix tents they make them worse, and the last fix broke vehicles.

Me and my friend play Dayz together I am 14 and he is 17 we are making an aussie dayz squad we have both been playing for around 50 days so are not noobs add Angus.Ryder on skype if you wanna make a squad with us and do looting raiding camps and finding vehicles plus alot more cheers. Artzy

You could always downgrade to 1.7.2.4 and play on those servers. My server was downgraded a few days ago and I can confirm that all the vehicles and tents are saving as they are supposed to.

I would be so bold as to say the tent and vehicle bugs are VERY bloody game breaking. I mean what's left if you can't fix up vehicles or place some bases/tents around the maps. Only really pvp in Cherno/Elektro left with those.gone.

The servertime is important as well, because choppers spawn after a server restart and don't generate new loot after being looted. For example: If they restart every 6 hours and the next restart is scheduled for 5pm and it's currently 4:30pm, you can be almost 100% sure that all the chopper sites have been looted at least once. If it's 5:10pm, it's unlikely the choppers were looted already (unless there is a very greedy and efficient clan with multiple vehicles on the server of course).

Why would you drive out of the map? Stop hiding stuff! Not unless you scroll wheel and eject, or the server restarts, vehicles don't just disappear unless a hacker takes them.

vehicles location and damage works, but gear isn't (same as tents). also there is a bug, sometimes after server restart the vehicles and tents not appearing so you will have to wait for next server restart... so... enjoy :D
