So Two friends and I were driving around at night, NVGs and all, repairing a vehicle; a few clan players here and there but we're hitting factories and repairs are coming on fine~ We get west of Zelenogorsk at the Off-road spawn just to check see if it's there and might have parts or something in the gear. We find nothing but check the spawns; again everything is going smoothly. We start to pull out as the Off-road Pickup truck did not spawn, and a random person in a ghillie suit comes out of literally no where, running after us; my friend goes, "PLAYER! That's gotta be a hacker, he wasn't just there." so at this point we're shitting ourselves thinking we're going to lose all our progress to some ass. We notice he's completely unarmed. He starts running away and then runs backwards facing our vehicle. We speed away about 700m expecting to be insta killed any second and parked the truck. Run to a barn expecting to take on this guy who we believe may just again, kill us with a script. We're waiting; nothing's happening. We start talking about how fucking creepy it is and I realize, I pressed "P" instantly when I saw this guy and saw us three on this deserted server. My friend said he did the exact same thing; and the veteren player in the group assured us that Admin, Hacker, anyone could not show up in the player list. It had to be AI. One of my friends logged and my other friend and I decided to find out what that thing was. We made our way back to the car, parked about 400m away from us and he goes, "Oh, I left the lights on..." and I said, "I don't remember them being on when we left?" As NVGs plus light = VERY BRIGHT. -Seconds later- We get to the car, and there's the fucking Yeti/ghillie suit wearing guy, sitting in the driver side; My friend goes, "FUCK HE'S THERE." And kills it. Press P again, no players are on... We check the corpse, find nothing on the body. The Truck and the Lights had been turned on. ~~~~ So question, "What the fuck was that?" "Is this thing attracted to Vehicles?" As in, will find parked cars from players hording them? "WHY IS IT SO FUCKING CREEPY? IT MOVED LIKE A PLAYER AND GLARED AT THE STEERING WHEEL..." My mind is so full of fuck atm. Agreed with my friend. It's the creepiest fucking moment I've ever had in a video game....EVER. I remember a server join message that said, "Watch for Yeti's, they are going extinct. ;)" Is that what they meant? (Something I also forgot to mention aside from the post below. We found this server with our Yeti friend after being killed by a hacker who appeared from no where in front of our V3S. So all we or mostly I, could think about was how much suck was going to be had after losing another vehicle to a bloody hacker. Only added to our hysteria in the moment.) Also, if I may I would like to name the one who sought only to drive our car and into the hearts of millions and that is I like to think of the fun we may have had with a yeti on our team, but...sometimes that's life. Some may call him the slinderman, but he was no such thing...He had a heart of gold as our pants were brown. if only we had seen it sooner. Now he's dead...and in yeti hell.
  2. We're opening our server to anyone that wants to join. You will need to email us for a password, including your username so we can keep track of who is meant to be on the server so we can admin it efectively. We are banning the use of choppers and have taken measures to remove them from the game. Anyone found using a chopper will be banned from the server. Also, we don't want players hording vehicles as we want vehicles for people to use. This doesn't mean you can't have a few vehicles, but hording say 10 vehicles is not on (we will find them and drive them to random towns or destroy them). Barbwire griefing will also not be tolerated - you can lay it down for tactical purposes but to aggro other players is not acceptable. If you're interested, email us at [email protected] and we'll reply with the password and server rules that you will agree to when joining the server. We'll do our best to admin it fairly and we will not shoot you on sight (promise) We will however make you act out the deliverance scene if u start being a dick. Jex
  3. Hi, I love this game ! That the game i hope since many years. I sent many suggestion about game like this one (but not with zombies) to many game's editors. I'm so happy see you make a so beautiful game, new style, new concept, play on realistic world, with fantastic events. My ideas are about play as real. Many ideas type (server, gameplay, difficulty etc.) Sorry for my english, not very good, but i think you can understand. I'll give you more ideas later. Take all you think good and remake it as you think the best for this "game of the year 2013." Have a nice day ================ In extinction In a same area. More you will kill zombies respawn less zombies will spawn quickly. More you kill zombies less there will be zombies. That is logic. Anyway the first respawn will be same, many zombies. Players will kill them, one respawn will be done. If they kill quickly each respawn the next one will appear later. And more later for the next, and more again, and more again. Loot respawn will be slower too. Visibility and noise When raining zombies can't detect us easily, visibility and noise is reduced. Rain noises cancel walking noise. That like at real. And same for other noises, A noise can hide other song. Beach wave, vehicle, rain, etc. Shadows must hide us a little more than over then sun. More the shadow is dark more we are hidden. Eating : Eating every hour a can for 3 person is lame! Loot Let us able to search loot in trashcan, furniture, dump etc. Radio : Players can use chat or microphone to speak with nearest peoples. They can shout for silence, speak for normal, or they can scream to let be readable or listenable on a long distance. Anyway to speak or use a général canal chat players will need to find a talky-walky, radio, or other gadgets. Barricade and camp In addition with barbed, a barricade and a portal. Barricade is better that barbed, zombies can't see players, but a single barricade will need more than one part to be constructed. Players will be able to construct a safety camp. 20 barbed minimum + one portal minimum. Any barbed part can be replaced by a Barricade. Safety camp can be enlarged to 50 barbed parts. A camp can't be construct if another camp is nearest than 10 km. Camp can't be larger than 50 barbed parts. Camp will be closed and only the portal can be use to enter. Zombies can't use this portal, the portal need a key or can be open from the inside. Any player can duplicate the key if he has one. The key is the same for all camp. With a key in you tool belt you can enter the camp. That needs to make yourself the camp or ask other player to give you a double of keys. ================= Multi map: On server for one map. Each map is linked to other border map with a real road. To change map (and so server) player need to get this road. When at end of the road player can select the server he wants from list of server who playing the map where he wants to go. Player can wait for free slot on a specific server (number on queue must be show) If all servers full, road is like blocked, he must wait in queue or take another road. Se road can lead to several other maps. Why not let player repair train? Or use airplane? to go to other map. Use a set of server to coordinate maps. Same servers will be attached to specific other one. Useful when player want to change map, he must go to the same map of his player team. About queue: If some die, if server full, the dead man must wait his turn at end of queue to ruturn in this server, or he must go do a new server. So, when server full and players in queue, if someone die, the next on queue get his place. Anyway on death player can change his server or set of server. All maps make a full world, very very very large. Like a puzzle. Player will need to use road to change map/server. That mean many time running or drive to travel all the full set of maps. Player can keep his vehicle when changing map. He'll never be able to change his map by other way than road. Except if he was dead? That will ask a lot of map to make a full country/world, but that will do a revolution on online games. That will be a real country, a real world. Let player and team make maps for you. You only need to give them all restrictions useful to keep their map able to be played on official server. 3 server's styles: Server not as mmorpg server, not as fps server. I think it will be better to keep your new style server. Better than a regular mmorpg or fps ranked server. 1/ Ranked servers You need one or more server to keep players information's. Same as now. Let players, teams, and banner open and pay playing servers. You need ranked server to have many server paid by customers, teams etc. Each must respect some constraints to be able to get the ranked title. - If some maps, one server for one map, map never changes. - Persistent world, never offline (except for update or debug). - Players information's sent to official server. 2/ Full official persistent world with events : I will speak about official's servers like mmorpg. With month fee for players. If using multi map idea, each map is attached to one other map with same ping and usual language. Player Choice his set of server and will never use an other one. Like mmorpg. Player will not be able to change server to loot again in same position. That mean real big servers, very stable. With this style of game map you can make some interaction from map to map (and so server to server). Players can find nuke and send it to another map to let place free during 1 hour, 1 hour with zombies in the map. But nuke will destroy all players, destroy all loots for the 30 first minutes, make all vehicles and electric widgets off. Players can get many vehicles and go with on a same map. And so organize driving killing or race bus. 3/ Why not offer each type of online gaming? Why not let player able to play on 3 types of servers: - Free server paid by teams/players/banners - Ranked server linked to official players information servers. - Real official servers with month fee. ================ Run, sprint and endurance Slow the speed over the time is a good idea. But. On each movie I saw zombies were slower than humans, but humans are tired by running. Usualy zombies are very very slow. Too many zombie have a full running. That tedious. That need more zombie types. Maybe one type of zombie can run, and will not make run each time, and will stop his running randomly from 3 sec to 5 hours without a reason. Keep the running end when out of view is good. For many other zombies that will be better if human will be faster zombies when running. That let able to add more zombies per area, players can make a run to distance then zombies but will have quickly too many zombies following to try something other than running farthest as he can to get out of here. That will need running points (like 100 points) and endurance points (like 10.000 points). The first points as used likes actually but will consume running points. When running, running points will down, speed down. When out of running points, speed is really slower but that will not consume endurance points. To get more running point, player must walk or motionless. To get more endurance point player must wait, running will not affect the very sow pull up of endurance points. You can sleep to have a seepup pull up of endurance points. Anyway sleep will make black screen and sound partially audible, at wake up you will need to eat and drink a little portion. Eat and drink will pull up a little more the endurance points. So, in wake up, endurance points pull up very very slowly. No global endurance points mean no running endurance point restored, you will need to run slowly if you won't take time to sleep or eat. Additional Sprint mode is a really the best speed you can do. I think 65% faster than normal running. That will directly consume endurance points, and all of them can be consumed in some short seconds. 50 to 200 meter maximum. 200 meters sprint is really hard, try it if you can ! So you will be tired quikly. You will must stop you sprint before have negative points. When you have negative points you will not be able to move any more. You will need to wait point's restoration, slowly. You can use your weapon with difficulty. Prepare a camp. But must wait the first positive point before eat or sleep. Like someone breathless. As real. Additional effect: more you have endurance point more you will have bonus effect same as paintkiller (and other why not). Random Using random for all loot, zombies, and other movable's widget is good. Anyway, random reaction on a fire must be on each zombie and not on the fire. Actualy if I fire with a sniper gun, all or no zombies want my death. tedious... That will be better to have this random interaction for each zombie, one by one, in the sound effect area. ========== Making great trap against zombies and maybe players. An incredible death trap machine ? For exemple (maybe this example is too complicated too). You need a big fire camp like a stack. Some ropes. Some wood log. Some levers. Some wood board. Your actions will be : make the stack, lever(s) and wood board(s) all around the stack. Attach each wood log to a rope. Attach each rope from lever to nearest tree or wall or floor lamp. Then fire the stack. Zombies will be attracted by the firing stack. When the walk on wood board, lever will be down, wood log will be free and push zombie inside the firing stack. You will need each time to attach the robe to a nearest widget. Zombies are attracted by fire that let you free if you don't fire with your gun. Other ideas : - Hole ground with or without peaks fatal. Without mean they stay alive some time before kills their self. And they do many sounds when in the hole if no peaks. - Mannequin, looks like and smells human. Useful to lure other player too, and located them when he try fire the mannequin. - With a long pipe, very long you can make a sound fare as you are. Unroll the long pipe. If you do a sound at the first end, the sound will be only audible at the other end. There can have some different long pipe, large pipe for lot of sound, fine pipe for little sound. Some different sizes. 10 meters (need to be hidden useful for traps zombies). 25 meters, 50 meters and 100 meters. ========== Automatic skill upgrade Why not add automatic skills upgrade? Not like levels or like other games. Skills points will be one reason more to escape death. Player not need do manage anything, that automatic. More you fire with a specific gun, more your aiming and recoil will be better with this gun. More you run more you will have endurance running points. (see my idée about running). More you sprint less you will consume general endurance points by sprinting. (see running idea). More you bandage you or other player, less you will need time to bandage. More you are damaged by high jump, less you take damage from high jump. etc. You can have bad effect too: More you eat in short time, less you will have running endurance points. Only use % adaptation. No skill point to add manually, no levels. On other games points are never realistic. Usually players can put point on his health with points won by firing enemies ... stupid! Here you will win point on the action you did many times. As really experiences won. For bonuses, maximum points are 200% of starting points. For penalties Minimum points are 75% of starting points. Players mustn't be able to get the maximum bonuses. He mustn't have an end in his skills point's quest. More he win points, less he will points. And so player will never be able to have the full x2 multiplication, but be able to win more and more points. Quick example, First shot will give him a total of 115%, the next one 129%, the next one 141% the next one 152%, 161, 166, 169, etc. For aiming that can be degrees, firing angle of the weapon, lower and lower. For running, that will be points. For preparing eating that will time duration time. Etc. ======================== Zombies spawn. Never zombies must spawn in the field of view of player, expect when he dig himself out of earth, when he get out of his grave. If the ground is not earth, he can get out of an empty house, appear behind house, behind car, get out of a flue, etc. But player mustn't see the spawn, mustn't see the zombie appear by magic. That nor realistic. I think about use spawn as spawn area and not spawn point to let able the server select the best point in each area for each spawn time. Server need to cancel spawn if player can see it. And please do not let zombies appear near player except if get out of the earth. Same for get out of a house because player maybe just searched in it. Anyway let able from the flue too because player can't watch inside flue. No respawn near players, some time i had spawn inside the house. But i just killed all in the house, 2 times... really not realistic. ============ Stupid Zombies Usualy zombies are stupid. They can't open door, etc. They can any destroy some of fragile doors. Let player get safe in houses. Slow zombies in building are good idea, but maybe too easy. Why not be safe in house if we close door, safe but closed and trapped. Zombies can stay long time around the house. Player must do no sound long time and wait. Maybe another player will make sound near you and will attract zombies fare as the house. Players can use flare from window to try attract zombie far as the house. Smelting Why not let zombies smelt human smell. That will not help them to find player except if player is very near of the zombie. That will only excite zombies. If they smelt human, they will be very active/aggressive. If they smelt nothing more that zombies, they will be very passive. Players can have 2 types of smell points. Death smell points and alive smell points. Player can have zombie smell (death smell) for long time if he do some rolls over a dead zombie. 5 rolls over 3 different zombies will give a a perfect smell. It mean full points, for long time. Zombies can smell alive smell (players smell) too. Player can down his alive smell with some hunting spray. The human smell pull up when running or where on adrenaline by firing 3 time or more during latest 30 seconds or less. With perfect smell zombies will never smelt you when you are near them. To stay stealth and not excite zombies your alive's smell's points must stay lower than your death's smell's points. Zombie's imitation Why not let player have a key to imitate a zombie. Maybe with an adequate disguise (need to take clothes from dead zombies). That will let player walk safety (if walk slowly) with zombies. And that can help to lure other players. Anyway player must have perfect movement to but not detected by zombies. If zombies see you, watching around you all the time... They will beat you. Players must walk in an only one direction, follow other zombies if they listen a sound, or if all of them are walking in a same direction for any reason. Player must do all like other zombies. Player's falling. In addition to my running points idea. Player % Chance to fall when try watch back while running. Player must stop before turn him to the back. Same, use % when try run backward/reverse and slow his step. When running fast in full wood.

Server up for about 6 hours in week and 12 on weekend GMT. we are located in the UK and so we recommend that you only join if you have fast internet or are living near the UK. no hacking, result in a ban. first 2 person to join my server gets free weapons and equipment! you have 3 networks ID:dayzhive1 dayzhive2 dayzhive3 no passwords are needed on any of the networks! to loin the server in arma 2 OA go to remote and have it as follows port:2302 IP:5.204.153.1 join the server which appears and your there! if it doesnt let you on, try to update to the latest beta patch of the server. or if that doesnt work the server may be offline, as this isnt a 24/7 but if your on at the right time you can have a great time on the server i promise! hope to see you there!

This is in no way related to game play so I hope I have the right spot, but it would be cool if the standalone had good support for multiple monitor setups (2, 3, 6 whatever), most games deal with this well inherently but some have issues with zooming/using iron sights, menus, driving vehicles and I'm sure there are other things that could not work but those are the ones I have heard of. Awesome list by the way!

    DayZ is a joke in its current form

    Haters and lovers must come to an agreement, we are operating in a broken system. That is the nature of the alpha, which is now simply being used as a testbed for standalone. Rightly so. However, the lack of teamwork and lack of things to do once geared up is the problem we face. It is a fair problem, and the reason for us playing the alpha. There are other solutions to KoS-ing than simply encouraging teamwork however. I speak of just giving the player more tools to do general "stuff". Blocking off roads and buildings, forming settlements, maintaining camps, scavenging for materials, more survival requirements, weapons maintenance. The list goes on. If I were more consumed in going about these activities, I would be less inclined to either seek out other players to kill or venture into risky places just for the hell of it. Furthermore, giving players the tools to accomplish things as a team would further discourage this. Vehicles are a great example, as commonly, for a helicopter... it takes a group to repair such a thing. This, is obviously a flawed system in my opinion, as it is far too easy to do with a minimal amount of effort. But that is just me talking. The concept itself remains, if there were more "big-ticket" items that require a group to fix/create/etc, there would be less time spent going to Cherno/Elektro. The fact remains that once you're relatively geared up, there's nothing left to do but kill. Survival, on the whole, is secondary. If you've got 3 or 4 Cooked Meat and a Water Bottle, you're set. You've nothing left to do but kill others. Survival vs. environment, and survival vs. zombies needs to be made more difficult. Survival vs. players is already self-explanatory. Lastly, the argument of "Don't go to Cherno/Elektro", though simplistic, certainly makes sense. I should preface this by saying, I don't want people to -never- enter the big cities. However, these cities should no longer be attractive to low-level players. It creates a situation where people never know anything else, other than Cherno/Elektro. The cities should be dangerous to all. There needs to be serious repercussions for firing a weapon in and around the cities, and cities need to have far more persistent zombies than they do now. It is my personal opinion, that there sould be a random "FOB" spawn in the woods to further disperse high-end loot away from the typical settings (NWAF and Stary). One per server, with a respawn of say 12 hours. Puts more interest in the woods, and disperses high-end loot in a manner that makes sense.

    Jack Of All Trades Company

    Hello Everyone, I have been playing DayZ for quite a while now and have seen it all. Bandits, heroes, griefers and n00bs, driven every vehicle, flown a chopper, sampled every delicacy from boar to sheep, been tent city hunting and even set up some of my own and even engaged in some clan warfare and you know what....ZZZZZZZZZZ i'm done with it all. Now before you misinterpret I am not finished with this mod just yet, in fact it's quite the opposite I have decided to use my over the top stash to embark on a solo campaign to aid every mofo from the US to Europe (sorry Australia but my ping won't allow me to come there), whether they be nooblet just starting out, or some pro who recently got prison loved by some (ahem) l33t h4xxor. And with this marks the beginning of the Jack of All Trades Company, a solo effort to arm/re-arm all the fine citizens of either Chernarus or Lingor Island, be you bandit or hero or still undecided i can help YOU! I am basically offering to trade any weapon, any items, basically anything and if possible may even be able to get vehicles to those in need (with the latter obviously requiring a lot more time and effort to achieve). All you need but do is to post on here, or PM me if you feel safer that way, anything you would like and if it is within my power/stash i shall see it is yours as quickly and efficiently as possible. Though be warned, i do not service those in private hives as i will not be able to access my stash within them and for anyone on Lingor there are some servers i will not be able to service either. Now you might be thinking this is some sort of trap, let me assure you it's not, just one guy trying to make a name for himself in this cruel and desolate place, as inspired by Dr Wasteland MD and his team of medical staff. All i ask in return is something as halfway decent as what is requested e.g AKM for NVG's just won't happen, M4A3 CCO for NVG's is a little more up my alley, though i will also accept beans as a form of payment, just cause, I love beans =). I mean who doesn't, right? So this service is effective immediately and as a show of good faith i will be handing out a free pair of NVG's to the first 5 people i trade with so it might be a good idea to request something else, and if you feel satisfied with the service be sure to tell your friends and some forum bean love will also help boost confidence in future transactions. Also, one last thing, i find myself also up for a bit of bounty hunting in my spare time so if there's some douche that you want offed, PM me their name and last known server and I will do my best to ensure their end and will try to provide screenshots as trophies for you to mount on your desktop.     Prefix as role indicator.

    Wouldn't [AssHole] be a step up from a murderer? The way I see it: Hero - Will help anyone and kill only bandits. Medic - Will actively look to help players suffering from status effects. Transporter - will drive around escorting people. Survivor - Just playing to survive. Rarely kills and only in self defence or for necessity. Bandit - someone who kills for gear rather than loot it. Murderer - somone who just kills with no intent on looting you since they already have everything they want. Asshole - He'll kill you then he'll go try and find you and kill you again when you respawn. When your offline he will go around trying to destroy tents and vehicles.     Cant spawn in anything other than legit dayz vehicles/items. No hummers but an ikarus is fine.. no plains/helis other than UH1H_DZ. PBX will spawn, but no other custom boats.

I had broken bones from a zombie attack and was crawling from the western outskirts of elektro to the hospital it was afternoon on a quiet server my friend accidentally hit respawn and was on his way to his body so i was prettymuch on my own. i had a silenced m4, a silenced m9 and an alicepack with decent loot. crawling slowly avoiding players and zeds as i near the hospital i crossed the street crawling. When i heard what sounded like a makarov fire in a distance my heart started pounding "not too far now.." i said to my self. then i shot the glass of the hospital with my m4 silent but the glass wouldnt break... "Damn! what shuld i do" i decided to crawl to the side going towards the back where the ladder was..when i was shot by a makarov from behind.. "dont shoot im friendly... i have broken leg" i said. i was sure it was the end for me.. few seconds later i heared the glass infront of the hospital breaking.. "it must be my shooter looting" so i continued to crawl towards the back not giving up just yet. when from behind me the player appeared holding his axe and was looking at me. "dont kill me man i have broken leg" i said "ok just dont point that weapon at me" he said. I kept on my way to the ladder with him following me as I got up the roof I glithced in the corner and somehow fell 3 storeys down. I was sure i was dead and i see him looting my body.. but then I lived and my legs was all healed up. This stranger saved my life. I said "thanks so much u saved my life!" i continued to climb the ladder to the roof with him following me as we reached the roof a bullet ricochet on the concrete near my foot... amazed I asked whats goin on? then another.. followed by a loud distant bang from the hills "SNIPER! follow me or youll die" he said.. we hid in the corner for few moments thinking of our options.. "do you have smoke grenade" he asked "sorry i dont" "we can risk running to the ladder but one of us will probaby get shot or we can jump off and heal each other below" before I was able to reply he headed to the corner and jumped.."wait" i said hes crazy..then at the bottom left of my screen i saw a player has died i felt sad but thought I may still be able to save him like he did to me. So i ran to the ladder ignoring the sniper bullets just missing me. at the front of the hospital i saw his body bleeding still on standing position in his hands a makarov. flies already started buzzing around him i felt sad and guilty that this person saved my life, died as a result and all i can do was check his body for loot. I stayed there for a moment when.. "i see you" a voice said. it was my friend who respawned and got his gear.. i told him about this random guy that i met and saved my life.. i cant remember his name but is was probabbly matty or something close. and if you are reading this i would like to thank you and meeting you made a great but sad story. this dayz experience was unique and something ill remember for all my dayz life me and my friend ended up fixing a uaz finding another 2 vehicles at set up our very first camp in the forests.. and after a week i still couldnt help but think about this guy its people like him that makes this game great! and i thank you for it! :)

I am also massively confused as to what happened, the admin was very kind/informative on teamspeak, then proceeded to call us liars in a very rood manner, with the use of foul language, before banning us a second time. This is absolutely unacceptable, if we have or are doing something wrong we should have at least been provided a reason when we went on teamspeak, not instantly banned, we showed respect, I didn't barge in raging and yelling at people or anything... We are NOT cheating, I don't even know how, we had just been on the server for HOURS with people spawning vehicles, mass killing people, abusing everything possible, and they finally leave without punishment and this happens to US. Really disappointing to see a great game infested with cheaters, even worse to see innocent people punished for it, please try and do better in the future. Thanks and good luck.

  19. Hoarding helicopters so only you and your friends can use them...how selfish and pathetic. Same goes with anyone or any group that keeps and stores more than 2 vehicles. Ruins the game, just so you can drive a different car each time u hop on. Grow the **** up, hoarding vehicles is what I'd expect a bunch of 12 year olds to do on a game like this. You little girls need to have so many vehicles > to get to and camp weapon spawn points > again and again > till you have best weapons > so the odds are in your favour. All that work just to try and give you a better chance against other players. Like i said - Pathetic.

  21. accepted. btw its a public hive. now BTT ... why do some of the vehicles not spawn, eventhough the server loads them? is it because there is wirefencing in some places? for example theres wire on the mountain at cap golova, where the 2 ATVs spawn. or in cherno near a warehouse, where the Hilux spawns. (at least it might be the spot, why else would there be a big barbwire X in the open?)
  22. Personally, at this stage, I think the key is going to be with the "party" feature that Rocket has been contemplating. Really I don't see a way around it. Either your a lone wolf or your in a clan. If your in a clan your working together with your clanmates. If your a lone wolf your all alone. Ive really seen the PvP decrease in this game lately and its mostly the casuals who have stayed around playing. Its kind of getting lonely as a bandit to be completely honest. I hunt down groups of players and nobody wants to fight. They want to work together. If things keep going the way they are I may very well give up on being a bandit and go farm loot and repair vehicles and help people and do all those social things. Its just no fun getting into a firefight with people who are just trying to protect themselves and would rather be teaming up.

Survival vs Wild. He wants to make the players body and nature become the antagonist. Things like broken ribs, different walking stances depending on where you have been injured, diseases (Malaria, Dysentery, Cholera) - Locations with more players will have more chance of spreading disease. - New medical system. - Zombies entirely redeveloped, both graphically, in terms of animations and AI. - Weapons will have durability, they can jam, NV Goggles etc will need batteries, if you get shot in the head, the night vision goggles might get damaged for example. - UI removed, talks about a vomiting animation and other cues to show you are sick. - Chernarus+ is done, new towns, facilities, water fountains balanced, many more fully enterable buildings, eventually all will be enterable. - Some images and/or video of Chernarus+ will be up on the blog shortly. - New Crossbow, new melee items (some may come to the mod) also talks about a bow. - More parts to vehicles, different parts for different effects, for example a battlebus created by adding certain parts to a normal bus. - Timetable (Stable build out this year, November/December for a very low price point, January/February will see a lot of regular new content being pushed out. - Working with community/private hives to try out new ideas in the mod.
  24. the white car looks like a skoda or lada, but its white and brandnew looking, whereas the skoda on the wiki-page for instance is blue and pretty rusty. I was looking if a hacker spawned the heli in the ocean, because there was a douchbag hacker on my server. furthermore WE CHECKED EVERY spawn location for UAZ and Hilux. And I noticed that on some spawnlocations theres wirefencing. So i wanted to see if there are any vehicles at all besides the ones we found when rented the server. All vehicles we found where basically all in one spot at Kamenka.

    And that was a borderline accusation of admin cheating. I love how people just jump in with bullshit like you just posted without knowing all the facts. There's a big difference between checking the logs to find a vehicle location to go get it yourself, and checking as an admin to make sure everything is spawning correctly for your players. I check my logs for vehicles all the time to make sure some asshat hasn't teleported boats to airfields or cars and helicopter to the ocean where my players can't use them.
