Tehy earn their place in cherno, If you was to say cliche line of "If you want realistic than batteries would be needed" to which we can argue that, well food and ammo would both go out of date and become unusable after a while so get rid of bullets. Saying nerf/turf something because you dont like it is a silly idea, doesn't matter how you try to word it, silly none the less. As it stands adding in batteries and a system to get it to work evenly would be a waste of resources IMHO. NVGs are good, so is the thermal L85, but i cant ever use mine in the day because i suck with it in the day, When the standalone comes out, and hopefully less hackers/dupers are around than NVGs will feel more balanced because it will take forever to find a pair unless you are lucky. I mean as it stands, it took me 8 days of 8hour average sessions in dayz before my character found a pair of NVGs at the NW airfield, but i got killed soon as i left the barracks which sucked. but still as it stands its already rare as hell and balanced. Hackers/dupers just make it too easy :(

When you cant walk past any vantage point with out first checking to see if any one is on building tops or hill tops.

I have a collection of about 10 grenades, i find them and stash them and when i get bored i find alot of people and throw a shit ton of grenades out. If you ever go to loot cherno or electro, id always advise having a grenade on ya, those things are handy, :D and fun.

Yeah I was on a sever the other night, 3 people in server, 1 being me the other being my friend, we were vehicle hunting all of a sudden my mate finds a car with a dude sat in it, so he pops him in the face and steals the car, he drives to come pick me up but is soon sniped, I fidn the sniper and kill him, i steal the car and get it back on the road. about 5 minutes later while im all the way north i get killed. teleportation seems to be the big deal now, (That or they laced mountain dew with crack making him able to run from the south coast to the north airfield in under 5 minutes) Yet they dont seem to use the god mode now. I mean either way its damn annoying not too fussed I enjoy starting from scratch. Its just another game machinic that we are pretty much used to now. Just think of it like we are the sims, and hackers are the players that want to trap the precious sims in a room with no doors or windows and just wants to see us burn.

Well most people make the mistake of placing tents next to marked spots. e.g. X direction/bearing from a fixed point in game (y), such as dear stand, house etc. They do that so when they die they can find it easily enough again with just a compass. I went a chose a different option. Face x from y and continue for certain time, and change to x bearing and continue. it insures that my camp is a bit safer then most. Although like all tents/camps none are safe there is still a chance of some one finding it by chance but its held place there for a few months.

Well today i learnt a lesson. I may not kill an unarmed man, But never give the idiot a gun because the guy will chase you later. Today found a new guy in cherno, gave him my M9 and let him on his merry way, not 10 minutes later the guy started shooting at me, And i got my first kill with my Thermal L85, and it is one sexy gun. I'll Just shout/ask friendly in chat and on mic, If no response then Ima open fire, Unless he is unarmed/axe/crowbar

Nope. The main point i like about the game is that NOWHERE IS SAFE.

Yeah laggy players isnt really an issue, I never join severs with ping higher than 60ms just to avoid lagging myself. and alot of servers i am on kick players with ping over 150

I wouldnt mind seeing a Civi Helocopter in the game, maybe could throw it down Bolota air strip or the North East airfield. As for choppers my fear has never been about crashing them or lossing them, but mainly refueling them, they take fucking ages to refuel. needless to say you want to have a few people with you when you do so.

Well in all fairness, apple products are good, but they are only good for the one thing that they are designed to do, which is creative production, (Photoshop, After effects, Music production) and it works like that out the box so understanding of the product is minimal, which i can see why people would want it. Where as with a PC, you are expected to learn how to use it, before you can get it to work well with everything. but the PC is able to do more due to less limitations set in place by the design and OS. :D so sorry mac fan boys, But PC is better.

Here is what i have to trade; - M4 SD CCO + 4 Mags - PDW + 1 G17 mags and 1 M9 mag - DMR + 3 MAGS - GPS* - NVG* - Range finder* * = can throw in ammo or medical supplies to sweeten the deal. I can join EU or USA servers (EU server is better for me for lower ping) Can use TS or Skype, Just reply to topic or send me a PM if you have a ghilli for trade. Note: will trade on empty server to insure security and will trade in The West/North west towns or airfield, which ever is close.

Maybe if you could use a tool box to either remove the clamp, or Take the whole wheel off and replace it with a new one. its the only thing i can think of that would balance the item out.

I don't like the idea myself. I can see why people like it or want it, but I don't think its something that should be added, as it doesn't add anything to the game play. Putting it into the game only adds security to the player who secured it in place, but the point of the game is that nothing is safe. Although what it would add is people going out their way to blow it up, me for one would.

I always laugh when Mac users ask for PC games, Its like PS3 players moaning they cant play Halo. If you want to play it, A) piss about with wine and try to get it to work or B) run a virtual machine inside of IOS and play it.

Well what i do when im down in cherno at night is throw out a few chem lights and road flares and stay at range to see what happens, then run building to building flash light on look about see where zombies are then turn the light off and run tot he next building. Only downside is the second you catch a zombie your cant see for shit light on or off because you need to be stood still to actually see in front of you........ So in short, night time is Fucking hard and not for pussys.

Nope. I like knowing that when you get killed You have to start from where ever you get put when you re spawn. I mean half the fun is in meeting up, you have to carefully plan your trip to avoid getting killed and starting back on the coast again.

Nothing quite like the paranoia of walking into a room to find active chem lights on the floor. Night time has a whole new dynamic to it when you play with out NVGs.
