it sounds fine to me, maybe all the people you have encountered just have bad mics? its a low chance but thats all i can think of.

Server must have lost connection to the database and your character got deleted, its an alpha, you agreed to play it like that, so tough luck ;)

Im pretty sure you can only have a server through a provided hoster, i know vilayer is hosting. https://www.vilayer.com/game-servers/game-servers.html Thank click on DayZ Standalone

All i know is that they are not rare at all, i have found countless of them, protection wise im clueluess -
It was bound to happen, no matter how flawless the game would be, certain people just like to point out every mistake and criticize the game. Just gotta ignore them for now.

Uhm, im not sure if you have payed to much attention to the devolpement but thats already in the game....if you shoot someone in the chest, everything in they're jacket will be damaged and etc. Maybe next time just watch some DEV blogs my good sir. -

So, after an hour or two of carefully looting the new cherno sections, im pretty well geared except i have no ammo for my main gun, but anyways, i see flashing lights in a nearby garage, and do my best to avoid them. I head into the new building thats in the middle of town across from the hospital, im not sure what its called but as im looting that, i head up the ladder to the roof only to see two people staring at me. I panicked immediately and typed out "Friendly" as fast as i could. To my ultimate suprise, they respond friendly over voice, it was a huge relief. Is humanity restored? Is KOS no longer the only thing to do? Lets hope so.....

Seems like the first encounters for most people are about even. Which is sure of a hell lot better than the mod at its current state xD

I dont think ive seen zombies climb ladders, i might be wrong, but for doors i honestly havent seen that yet either, but all i know is that zombies run inside buildings which makes you re-think everything.

The tripod can be put on certain weapons like an m16 or such for improved stability when in prone, but you must be in prone or else it will actually give you a disadvantage.

The error you get when you start your game has nothing to do with the crashing, it happens to a lot of people for no reason but doesnt contribute to the crashing, thats all i can really help you with.
