  1. Logitech G500 or a Razer Deathadder 1800 dpi, same issue either way.
  2. I'll try but it's hardly a fix because it makes using the mouse in windows shell terrible and any other game.
  3. You do, actually most people I know that play dayz would physically hit a skiddie if they got the opportunity to.
  4. I've recently upgraded my computer to: i5 3570K 8GB RAM ATi5850 And reinstalled my operating system from a formatted drive, windows 8. I've disabled the accel that occurs in windows by default. Then, when I booted up any of the ARMA games I get mouse *deceleration* rather than acceleration. I've disabled vsync and post processing effects, did the config switch to 1 frame ahead, disabled smoothing within the game. I can't think of anything else that's causing the deceleration. It didn't occur before I upgraded. It's completely unplayable this way unfortunately.
  5. Thanks I did actually try a few other servers but eventually it worked
  6. Every time I log in not only has my character been deleted without being killed (meh) I can't actually play because as soon as I load my new character on the beach it kicks me What I was doing leading up to that: >Vybor, find shiny black car >Find wheel, brought it to car >Couldn't figure out how the hell to repair it, I sat inside >A hero starts babbling to me in Russian from the school roof >No idea what he's saying, doesn't matter >Leave vehicle, attempt to kill him, he shoots me, I fall to the floor but I'm somehow still alive >I jumped inside the vehicle and exited again >Blew his head off, continue trying to fix the car >Server crashes, Now I can't log back in and play, permanently being kicked How do I fix this? It's persistently attached to my CD key
  7. The irony is that you're the one that's either new or stupid if you think p2p is inherently virus ridden. Back to kazaa with you.
  8. I do kind of find it amusing people think it should stop other people. Zombies, yes because they can't figure it out but if you can't walk across barbed wire laid on the floor then you're an idiot. Maybe if you were forced to vault it or walk through it and running through it caused you to bleed it can stay.
  9. Yes. Sick of boxed off areas in elektro and cumulative spam
  10. No, no they're not.First, use your trigonometry if you have no rangefinder Second, use your zero Thirdly, if they do have different muzzle velocities (not sure) the error correction in distance for the fifty would be less than the 7.62 rifles. The DMR has no zero function so you have to manually work out the drop based on newton's laws which takes forever I can. the Lee-enfield appears to have no bullet drop. line up with top of sight and click not difficult. Do the fifties have a higher muzzle velocity or something? One thing I would like to see changed is that these (HEAVY) fifty cal rifles be practically unusable standing up, you should have to be prone to use it properly. that's why they come with bipods.
