Will the new map add anything interesting to see other than Cherno and Elektro?

Hopefully Utes gets completely redone as well and a great big prison is plonked there. -
There be some psychos in here....
-
Anyone seen the crocodile in that DayZ Civilians mod? It looks crap btw
-
Comic much better
-
Hopefully if we get melee slots we could just pull out the ole hatchet or machete...
-
There was a time when you couldn't enter fire stations or barracks without having to disassemble 20 metres of barbed wire. It did get a bit ridiculous for a while.
-
You need to be moved here for a better chance of meeting players
-
It would be nice to be able to temporarily barricade a door, but as we saw with barbed wire in the earlier days you could get a lot of griefers who just barricade/block everything up for no reason
-
it is definitely what you would call an alpha - it needs a lot of work, but the core mechanics are very interesting.
-
What if you took both?
-
In the future people just wont leave the house. The Matrix is gonna be real soon enough.

a SIMPLE guide to getting the most FPS

Great joke. Hang on......... -
It would need a lot of work. The zombies are essentially a non issue now and they run like Usain Bolt. Walking zombies would pose no threat at all unless you could bump up the population significantly.
-
yeah it would have to be like tent placement - on one server only
-
I agree - i would love nothing better than being able to run into a building and board it up, etc and make a makeshift base. I just dont know if the game could handle it.
-
Welcome to the forums. We have had this discussion before but... The one big issue in regards to creating houses, camps etc is the strain it will put on the system. Can you imagine 6 months in when there are camps and modified buildings scattered everywhere - all of which require loading and saving. I am no programmer by any stretch of the imagination but all these objects would eventually cause massive lag. Rocket has said instanced underground bases are the way forward. What they will look like is anyones guess atm.

Sorry, its mine - bear traps and land mines already laid

You Gamma Exploiter!!!!!!!!!! -
I am sure it does work on Steam - but you will find it much easier to get updates and other maps/mods if you install DayZ Commander or PlaywithSix

Dude, the Zombie aggro radius is a bit ridiculous!

There is nothing more satisfying than killing someone who fired upon you first.
