Zombies can still be taken down easily with a hatchet - aim for the head. Even the stronger zombies go down with a headshot. Make sure you only take on zombies indoors as once they hit the magical doorway they can only walk. Note this technique will not work in the Standalone. -

I dont think we need a meter. Perhaps the better food fills you up more, has a chance to help against infections etc Or maybe cooking will save your life momentarily as a bandit holds you up and instead of demanding beans he orders you to cook him up some lovely Rabbit Stew. Then he kills you anyway.

Not stupid at all. I like the idea of being able to combine ingredients to make the food more nutritious. For example i think a stew would be much better for you than three cans of beans.

As far as Standalone is concerned i think the whole system is getting redone. Blood and Health will be factors to take care of. Bandages do in fact take inventory slots in the SA as does everything. As far as i am concerned though getting shot in an apocalypse would be very bad news. A simple bandage and a bloodbag shouldn't miraculously fix all. Perhaps you can slow the bleeding until you can get proper medical treatment (somehow?)

I wouldn't worry about dying in your first few outings, especially if you spawn near Cherno or Elektro. That's half the fun. My advice is to get a hatchet asap. Check barns, industrial complexes, sheds etc. Once you have a hatchet zombies should be no problem for you. Then you just have to worry about other players. And as for anyone thinking the Standalone is worth it - apart from Gummy, i think most people here will get the Standalone as soon as it is available. -
You can pretty much milk anything with a nipple.

I am confused - why do you want to play PvP on Non PvP servers? I don't agree with Non PvP servers but i just leave them alone. I mean killing players when they aren't expecting it isn't fun.......is it?? -
Yes, i am bored at work again! I should get another job really. I am sure this question has been asked in some form or another before. Imagine you have spawned near Cherno (X marks the spot). You don't have a tent or any vehicles stashed anywhere, nor are your buddies on the server. You are alone and fresh with only a bandage, painkillers and a flashlight. Where would you go? My route is below and is the one i pretty much follow every time i come into Cherno from the west. Tbh i only enter the church for a quick look if i am short of a few items. For me the priority is find the majority of tools, a hatchet and a decent backpack. For you?

No you should not assume that. Atm the closed alpha is a very small group. From what i understand the Public Alpha will be for all. I don't think there will be a time where Youtubers have the alpha and the general public don't. -
