I agree. We don't need admins shooting at the players. However i do think they need to enforce their rules. If a team is late to an area they need to be bombed and killed. Simple.

Well i am one of the many who got into Arma directly via DayZ. One thing i have noticed is we are definitely viewed as being the destroyer of Arma from a lot of the Arma vets. Have you ever tried asking a questions about DayZ in the Bi forums? Woah Nellie! Expect to be flamed, grilled and tossed to ravenous dogs. Me - i look at DayZ players as being the good looking bloke who waltzes into the party late and scores the best looking girl that all the others (Arma vets) have been trying pick up all night. However i do share your concern. I have come to love Arma 2 and Arma 3 and sometimes finding a relevant server is a pain. You may be right. Once the SA drops i don't think a lot of players will bother with Arma again. Which is a shame in a way because it is an awesome series.

Be nice if you could charge a flat car battery with another vehicle and some jump leads.

I wish there was a better way of gauging distance when throwing a grenade - especially short-med distances. I don't know about anyone else but i can throw a ball pretty accurately (within reason) if the target is only 20m away. Well, i suppose trial and error works.....

Get a Youtube/Twitch channel and become "well known" and no doubt you will get an invite. Otherwise there are qualifiers but only the top 2 or so go through so its pretty hard for "normal" folk to get in. Not that i'm bitter or anything!

Arma 3 and the Standalone have significantly better FPS for me compared to Arma 2. As has been stated, the SA hasn't even been optimised yet.

Spawning on the beach is a DayZ iconic moment so for that reason only i would like to see coast spawns only. However the odd, low percent chance of a spawn in the middle of a forest would be a nice touch. And like Mr Hetstaine says removing the text would be a great addition (subtraction?)
