What you are suggesting isn't exactly Trading. I agree you should be able to try and check someones backpack, but that person should be notified that there is a douchebag rifling through their gear....and you know where that will lead? I'll move to Suggestions as well.

Could we have servers that don't respawn loot?

I have always liked this idea as a sort of tournament style play. Like you say you would have to have all players spawn at once and you would need a lot of zombies initially as they perhaps wouldn't respawn either. I'd play. -

I think DayZ has three ideas going for it which are a recipe for success Zombies A huge, gorgeous unforgiving sandbox to explore Persistence/Permadeath and all the tension that goes with them These are what attracted me to DayZ nearly 2 years ago. Ok, Ok it was the zombies..... -
Tbh i haven't actually tried to survive in the Mod or SA for a long time. In the mod i would just run through Cherno or Elektro looking for action. Many a time it gets you shot at but you do have some interesting adventures with people you meet. If you just KoS you miss out on some very worthwhile interactions with players. My philosophy with the SA will change once more and more features are added. I too plan on playing on 1st only and though i have always been on the friendly scale i wouldn't mind trying to be a Highwayman for a change. Maybe even challenge people to pistol duels to cross a bridge.

How are we actively supporting Stream Sniping? You are comparing shooting some Streamer to a hacker who could conceivably nuke the entire server and kill everyone. I just don't think the Devs need to deal with the situation when the Streamers could do something themselves.

You do understand the Devs know about these issues? Perhaps a lot of people need some time away from the alpha for a while. Wait a few updates. As for paying to be part of an alpha - yes Early Access is a newish idea, but if people cannot read then what hope is there? You are not paying for a proper game yet. The outcry for the SA to be released had been deafening for months and as soon as it was released in its early state we get people complaining about bugs and problems.......

The streamers should perhaps delay their stream 30 mins or so. As for kill messages - it was done in the mod - was silly really. And Stream Sniping is hardly on the same level as hacking. Streamers aren't a protected species as far as i know.

You know i've never been too keen on tents etc. Storing items for when you die seems a bit off, but i understand some players need the comfort. However if there are ways i can completely destroy any tents i find then i'm in! -

It is possible to be friendly but i've found it has to be done in the right way. Running straight up to someone gun out isn't a very friendly action and is liable to get you shot even today. Can you imagine someone weilding a Magnum running up to an armed cop yelling "I'm Friendly! I'm Friendly!" And this is without a zombie apocalypse as a backdrop. Common sense really. -

From what i understand we are immune from the infection. And btw the "zombies" aren't dead, just Infected psycho humans. I also think a zombie life cycle with fast ones being recently fed etc is in the pipeline eventually.

Using an online map for a game like DayZ is a dumb idea imo.

I agree in a way but i think it is just a way to make getting a complete map a bit more of a challenge. Different types of maps would be nice. Tourist, topographic, military etc
