Because if they do kick you, you can report them and their precious little server will get taken down. If you don't get kicked you cannot report - a server title means nothing.

I dont understand why there is any confusion. If you are an admin you cannot keep a PvE server or keep the server private, for yourself, friends, clan or hot girl from down the road. It ain't hard. They are Public! -

Actually i'm not a bandit - and i've met quite a few people who aren't either. You dont just run up to people yelling "Friendly! Friendly!" are you? Those people get shot all the time. Because they are annoying.

I agree it is a bit OTT but i assume it is so you know in no uncertain terms that you are bleeding. It could be toned down a bit though.

I really have no idea what the attraction to PvE is - without other players, and the threat of getting shot, DayZ is not the same game at all.

I loaded the Take On Helicopters Seattle map in Arma 3 once and dreamt of DayZ in it - until you get on the ground and realise the buildings and streets are to be viewed from the air, not the ground. An urban setting would be great but it would be a lot of work and can you imagine the hardware required?

Just to reiterate - there are no private servers atm and admins cannot kick players for no reason - whether it is a clan server or a supposed PvE. "They pay for the server" is not a reason to kick whoever they want. As has been said - report these servers.

Why zombie horses? Why not just horses and some dangerous wildlife (bears, wolves, packs of wild dogs etc)?

Whenever i enter Elektro for example i always scour the hill for snipers and if i see one i try and loop around and take them out. There isn't really a doubt that anyone sitting in one spot overlooking a town from known sniping spots isn't a bandit.

If you see someone camping Elektro hill or the top of a fire station/hospital etc then you can assume they are a bandit, or a wannabe bandit. These peanuts are fair game.
