You do realise there are 10 months until the end of the year? We should be in Beta by then and Rocket hardly needs to be around for bug fixes which an accomplished team well versed in the RV engine could take care of. -

No, just pointing out that officially Rocket probably only has to give one or two months notice before quitting his job. I think being transparent and letting people know his plans far into the future is pretty decent. -

You didn't see the video dev blog whereby injuries and restricted movement because of those injuries was shown? The first few minutes show some features of an early test we did. Look at around 1:50 for injury restrcitions.

Don't give up...being friendly is hard but the most interesting adventures are from meeting like minded people. Sure it can get you killed a lot more but resorting to Easy mode isn't the solution. -
How would you like to see loot respawning done?

I advise hunting bandits... or slaughtering Noob Killers on the coast..... they are not the same thing.
