Yep i hope the Arma 3 stance system makes an appearance

I do sort of understand where you are coming from...sort of. Some people want to explore the apocalypse with only the zombies as a threat. I have played some of these PvE servers though and i have to say that while it is fun to kill zombies and loot it gets boring very quickly (about 15 minutes). Knowing that you are immune from death while traversing the map or looting a town free of zeds has zero tension. For me DayZ is about tension. The tension comes from not knowing, the constant feeling of paranoia that someone is nearby and you are possibly seconds from death. Without that constant fear and tension DayZ isnt the same. Perhaps there will be mods that a pure PvE - you'll just have to wait and see, but my suggestion is to find a private server in the future that has a community you grow to know. We may hate bandits but we definitely need them.

If you approach unarmed you get the option to "Perform Chuck Norris Reverse Snap Kick to the Head" as well. Honest.

Ive always like the idea of random things like Heli crashes, truck accidents, overturned ambulances, derailed trains etc but i think the Devs are more into player made events rather than scripting something artificial.

I think the current solution is actually quite good - you have to find somewhere you think is safe and log out. If you come back and you are dead then you obviously didn't log out in a good spot. Personally i don't log anywhere except huddled in a pine tree well away from any town or zombie.

I only speak from my experience in my own demographic (lets say over 30s) but there aren't that many women i know who play video games. Watch TV - yes, sit on a laptop and kill zombies - no.

This is how zombies get you (in all the movies) - trapped and with no way out. I really do hope that running up stairs and banging down doors that have been barricaded becomes a reality.
