Death is supposed to be permanent. Why should you know what happened if you didn't see/hear it coming just before you died?

Being a douchebag is easy. Being nice is actually quite hard. Same rule applies IRL.

Beside the fact that the crashed helis are on experimental (ie the devs are experimenting) i don't think the crash sites will ever just be random. There may be dozens of possible sites and perhaps 2-3 are chosen from those locations randomly. Those sites shown on the map do not spawn heli crashes every time - correct? They are just the current locations of possible crash sites? They can't just turn on a setting that would allow a crashed heli to spawn anywhere. It was always known in the mod that the heli sites were in clearings and generally on flat ground. Clipping issues and other collisions would be impossible to counter if they could just be randomly spawned anywhere on the map.

They aren't the most harmless but they are the most boring. Sitting in a bush for 2 hours waiting for a player to come by? Yeah....fun times. Btw my best experience in the mod with a sniper was spotting one on Sniper Hill overlooking Elektro, hiding in a pine tree. Unluckily for him a passing heli flew by. I noted the snipers position on the map with a big X, called up the Heli (on Sidechat) and told him to spray the zone. No more sniper.

It will be fixed, it is experimental after all. These things happen. Try walking out of buildings instead of running/sprinting, apparently it works.

It really depends on the country they are talking about and if they are talking about financial years or just calendar years. As Steak said for financial years, the UK 1st Quarter starts from April, the US from October, while here in Australia it is July. Who knows what the Czech one is?

Have you tried looking in your key bindings - not sure if LMB is in there or not. Otherwise, very odd.

I usually carry a mosin, 2 pistols, a fire axe and a sawn off shottie - i think that is enough.

I can't ever see AI being added to DayZ..they just don't fit the feel of the game. Some sort of end game should be possible but i don' think a "The End " screen is necessary. For me the end game would be surviving for as long as possible, building a base and having a Huey parked on top.

You could try not reading/watching the devblogs? Just log into Steam every few weeks and if DayZ is updating you know a patch has dropped. Jump back on and explore!
