Do people ever think why someone will post that the Zeds are OK while the next post is from someone who says they are too sensitive? Are we all sure we are playing the most up to date patch and on correct servers? There cant be this much discrepancy in Zed behaviour. It must be confusing to the Devs with all the conflicting reports. -

A good idea - just as a plain skin so you can let others know your intentions (or for deception purposes). Myself, i would love to run around in the Priest skin converting all sinners with my Holy Hatchet of Doom.

I think and would hope skins give you that - if in a gillie suit you should be less visible to Zeds not just players.

I think he is basically against any mechanic that prevents a player from doing whatever he want to do. I think he is more interested in environmental mechanics and screwing around with our minds rather than stopping PvP and bandits for instance. Like the old testament God - here it is, do with it as you will. And then he unleashes a flood!! -
I think the problem comes from picking them up again. I am sure some fixes are in the pipeline like the sights.

Classes in DayZ (let the shitstorm commence)

I can see where you are coming from - the idea everyone can fix a car, a helicopter, give blood transfusions, skin an animal for meat and be able to hit a Zed from 500m is a bit far fetched. Instead of picking a class maybe have a system of you getting better at what you do. If you hunt animals you are gradually able to get more meat. If you bandage others you get quicker at it. If you try and fix things you fix stuff that is a bit more reliable. Shoot a pistol 500 times, your aim gets better. Subtle things which wouldnt break the balance too much. My 2 cents -
There would definitely be some people who would go completely off the deep end. I think hallucinations would be a stretch for servers if everyone was going crazy. Maybe subtle things like you said, noises, footsteps things like that.

I agree i hope the starter weapon doesnt come back in. A watch and possibly a flashlight is all i would give them. Maybe one bandage if i am being kind.

I actually fail to see how morphine would help with a broken leg. Sure you wouldnt feel pain (or anything else for that matter) but you still wouldnt be able to run throught the woods as if by magic. -

I think there should be a small hand hatchet for wood and a larger axe for Zed lopping - one in the toolbox, one as a weapon -
I am pretty sure something like this is intended at some stage. But i think it would be more along of that having access to a radio kicks in the Glocal chat option so that all others with a radio can hear you.

These are not Zombies - they are Infected people which means sick, highly strung and pissed off. This would make them very fast. Have you seen 28 Days Later? -
Isnt the point of a bloodpack in that you need a friend to give you FRESH blood. I dont think you can intraveneously insert 10 day old, cold blood into your system without some sort of effect - like dying!

Interesting. I see a lot of work went into this good job. Perks - not sure if this is how Rocket wants this game to go. Some of the perks such as finding more loot would be pretty hard to implement in an MMO - if you find more loot can the player right beside you see the same loot or does he somehow miss some stuff? The other perks have potential though - some people would be quicker, some stronger, some healthier. Weapon Skill - the idea of getting better with practise makes sense. I wouldnt want players to be able to choose a weapon perk though whereby they are magically able to fire a pistol better than the next person. Ammo Crates - not too familiar with guns myself but do you mean that you can pick up any type of ammo and it can be stored in a small crate? I suppose this is feasible but surely you wouldnt simply be able to open your backpack, open the crate, swap ammo and reload a weapon too quickly - especially if being pounded on by Zeds. The process would have to be long, much like cooking food etc. Good job - this is what the suggestions forum is all about. I hope you dont just get people saying NO without constructive criticism. -
