Comprehensive broken bone/illness system

I think that if you have broken limbs in a game you shouldnt make morphine magically heal all. Morphine would ease the pain. Broken arms and legs should be detrimental, not just an inconvenience because you dont have morphine. I agree, a broken arm should mean you cant use a large weapon, a broken leg means you cant run. -

I love the idea of setting up trip wires. Even if the wire drops a whole stack of empty cans clattering to the ground. I just hope traps dont become an issue like the barbed wire. Though if you spot a trap you should be able to disarm it.

If they were both lying next to each other and had the same number of rounds i would take the M1911. Personal choice.

Having other players is what makes Day Z. Imagine this as a single player game? It would get boring real quick. Co-op can happen but players have a certain paranoia when they see another player. -
Depends. Some Veteran servers dont allow Third Person and/or crosshairs and the ability to see other players names. Just depends how hard core/realistic you want to play the game.

My suggestion - you start with nothing. No backpack, no bandage, no weapon. You spawn on a beach - i think this would imply you washed up ashore. At least thats what i assume.

I think them shagging you would be the main problem. I mean are the Infected actually chasing us to eat or is there some other ulterior motive. Do i hear banjos in those woods??

Ummm.....no. The only thing you could perhaps spawn with is a watch. I dont know about you but i dont carry bandages, makarovs or baseball bats with me. You are assuming we knew about the apocalypse, maybe we dont and have just woken up on a beach....every good zombie flick starts with the lead guy/girl not knowing what the hell happened.
