Also what I would actually like is a ".............. is connecting" message This way you know there may be a server hopper about to land nearby. Not realistic i know but it shits me when i get shot by someone who logs into a room i just cleared. If i see someone is connecting i can perpare myself for a second or two. -
That blue dot is you. It is enabled on some servers i think - it depends on the difficulty. You will even see orange dots that say 'Man', they are nearby Zeds. You will also see other people's notes so someone may have marked heli crashes or just drawn a huge cock!

Oh man, i am camped near the tower as we speak and i was going to try and have a look tonight about 3am ET. But after this story and the number of Zeds mentioned i am not too sure that is a smart move anymore.

About 10 minutes i think, as long as ALL the loot has been taken, If you want it to respawn you need to take everything even if you just drop it elsewhere. Also i think that you might have to back off as well - i dont think the loot will respawn if you just stand there and wait for it. It is probably tied to zombie spawning when you approach a building, deer stand or whatever. So you might have to back off a few hundred metres, though i am not sure i have never hung around and waited.

Line of Sight!!! Stay out of it and you will not be seen. Have you people never played hide and seek before? Did you ever walk in front of the person looking for you? If you did were you surprised when they saw you? Even from 50-100m away? It is possible to sneak around but you have to be patient and sometimes do a massive arc to get to your target. The old method of being able to crawl past a Zed in broad daylight from 5m away was BS. There are still issues, sure, but in my opinion it is slowly getting there. If you want easy street where the Zeds are blind and deaf, play the game at night. -

I hate to jump on but the whole 'Defibs can bring back people from the dead BS' you get from Hollywood and TV but it really gets on my tits. A defib is a device that actually STOPS the heart when it is under cardiac arrest. The idea being that the heart hopefully begins to pump normally again instead of spasming. Defibbing someone who has no heart beat will do NOTHING. So all those medical shows are complete crap. (gets off his high horse) As for bringing someone back from the dead - you just have to find the Resurrection Scroll from the Wizards Tower (Green Mountain) - i thought everyone knew that!
