I agree. Adding more content until the mod almost falls over should be the aim here. Once Rocket gets the content he wants in game then the bugs should be addressed. Whiny arses who are just concerned with their "stuff'" need not reply.

I think it is commonly called getting some of your own medicine. Its time to make the snipers sweat a bit. Dont tell me snipers are getting a little scared of some competition?

I just camped the Elecktro fire station and sure enough a sniper pops into position atop of it. I gave the guy plenty of time but once he proned on top, sniper rifle out, i had to take the shot. Shame i missed. :D

I even camped nearby Elektro for this and then it changed to Cherno - a shame.

Exactly the same thing happened to me once. However instead of shooting the guy right in front of me i just Aborted. The other guy was so startled he just stood and watched.

I was crawling around a buidling once and i turned a corner and came face to face with a frigging chicken staring right at me. I shat myself and fired a few rounds off - i missed. Needless to say it attracted a horde and i got the You Are Dead screen shortly after.

Despite the fact it is very handy i think that fitting a rotor blade, 3 tyres or another large weapon in your backpack is a tad unrealistic. The inventory system does need a rethink but i think it'll have to wait until standalone before anything is done.

Cons -it would get very boring very quickly without bandits.

I understand you want to play with friends but isnt finding your friend part of the experience? Like i said, staying alive should be the priority and so death does need some kind of penalty. I think being spawned randomly is the least that can be done. And from what i understand once underground bases are made you might be able to choose to spawn from them Who knows? And also, i dont think enjoyment of this game has ever crossed the developers mind. Its about survival.

I like. They would have to be in similar areas - ie along treelines facing fields but randomising them would add more exploration instead of knowing where one is.

No - being alone and disorientated is a major part of the Respawn. Spawning with friends cheapens Death, when death should be a major hindrance not just and inconvenience.

Yeah i noticed this last night when i carefully lined up a Zed with my M1911. I put one shot in him and turned away expecting that to be that. Imagine my surprise when he proceeded to pound me as i had to put three more shots into him! Definitely makes headshots vital. I hope Rocket doesnt lower Zed health though - i like the fact zombies are now a bit more powerful. Now the Lee Enfield is a two shot player kill.

I always liked one for player contact - though with the nerfing it is no longer a one shot player kill.

Selective spawning, or constant respawning to get where you want to be, goes against one of the things Rocket has said he wants at Respawn - a sense of disorientation. If you and your buddies can just spawn close to each other how is that disorientating? There should be more negatives associated with death, not just inconvenience. One of my pet hates and something which cant really be rectified is the fact that players can just run off back to their previous body or buddies and be fully geared up again in 20 minutes. How authentic or realistic is that? Does anyone actually take the time to start from scratch anymore - those initial few hours where you have nothing are always the most intense and best for me. I suppose its what you want out of the game.

Not a legend as such, but a freaky occurance: Last night i was travelling to the west of Nizhnoye (i think) when i stumbled on an apple grove. I'd never seen it before and it was very claustrophobic and unsettling - i couldnt see anything unless i looked up and down the lines of apple trees. The fact it was a night server didnt help. Anyway i was crouch running when i heard a nearby Zed and as i stopped i thought i spied a building through the trees, though i couldnt be sure. I continued on, this time walking slowly hoping to get through the grove. I was looking to my left and right, still unable to see very well becasue of the trees, when suddenly i saw a figure about 10m to the west of me standing still amongst the apple trees. Stupidly i stopped. It was a player with an axe. A bit stunned and taken aback i admit i was slow off the mark. He wasnt - he took a few steps and wordlessly buried his axe in my head. I dont know the players name, and i can only assume he had heard me and was waiting for me, but it was like something out of a horror movie - a deathly silent axe weilding maniac. I will not be returning to that grove unless i am heavily armed and in daylight! Beware the Apple Grove Axe Murderer!
